and the uh-1 'huey' was the nickname used for all of them which actually are still in use today in the twin engined uh-1n (the model) so calling it a vietnam chopper is a little inaccurate

Maybe it's a Resistance guy with his motorcycle trying to board with it.

The radar is the bump on the nose of the BH. I think someone made an addon like this, no? I would check at OFPEC or OFP CZ.

I think Fliper was working on a Pavehawk with a refueling probe, but I'm not sure if he released it. He was also working on the Predetor UAV.

That's not Martin's most recent UH-1. That's version 1.1. He's since then released v1.2 which is rescaled to be larger and has some bug fixes. One has a Minigun and the other is an unarmed Medivac. He hasn't finished the v1.2 with the door gun yet.

in vietnam U.S. used single engine hueys two engine came after the vietnam war so this huey is almost like the real exept for the side gun this uses a 30MM instead of the M60 7,62MM.

Thats a scene from the movie Black Haek Down. The guy with the bike was undercover and their picking him up.

Anyway if your going to as far as putting a radar on it for realism how about another gun sticking out the other side. And do the same with the CH-47. If you can get it so you have two gunners then at least just do it for show.

Yeah that one I think was made by Raven if I remember correctly. I have no idea why Flipper never released his. This one was never well publicized. I even sent in a "news" item to several web sites and they wouldn't put on their news that this Pavehawk with the refueling probe had been released. It can be downloaded at:

The only thing it's missing is the FLIR below the radar. But otherwise it's an excellent MH-60 Pavehawk. Oh...it could also stand to be retextured to black. But otherwise it's excellent. It looks a lot meaner looking then the standard blackhawk I think. Only bad thing is that the rockets were removed and no minigun door guns on the side like on the real thing.

why has noone made or working on a pavehawk or blackhawk that comes without the troop cargo seats and the right side door of the troop cargo area being taken out? i would like to see an addon that has the soldiers with their feet dangling from the bird on both sides of the chooper. you can also have a "chalk" leader in the middle behind the cockpit. i want to see a blackhawk just like the ones used in "blackhawk down", would look awesome with a rappel script.

nope they still havent given it to me, im working with vixer to make a usmc helicopter pack (UH-1N, AH-1W being released in a pack together and then CH-46, CH-53)
