Eviscerator 0 Posted June 19, 2002 i somehow managed to get my hands on the desert storm uh-1n beta and i have to say, dont get your hopes up, its a pretty ugly model and textures, its rotors are tiny (about 6 feet diameter) and as i said its ugly, it doesnt look that much like a huey at all.... Scorpio 0 Posted June 19, 2002 well im really not going to be looking forward to their new mod. quakergamer always ends every message with ' :-) ' and he makes really simple and crappy models, no realistic textures either. And im pretty damn sure the aircraft carrier would not be able to work full functionally in 1.46, only in 1.6 mp beta test. and ive seen the c-130, very ugly. Indychuck 0 Posted June 19, 2002 Am I the only one that doesn't really like desert combat much? To me there usually isn't much of a fight. I pick enemies off at 300 meters with my M-16 as I just lay there then mission over. I prefer dense foliage combat. You can sneak right up to people and they can sneak up to you. Anyway, as i said earlier.... 80% of their models are crap and 90% of their textures are as well.... ... I dont care if they release a beta or not, it just pisses me off when they SAY they will and then they dont do it afterall... ...
