MDRZulu 0 Posted June 17, 2002 Yes thats right I wasted yet more of my time on another stupid movie. It is very predictable... a little too predictable. There is way too much from the hip shooting for me to stand with not only Thompsons, but bar's, and carbines... ahh its disguisting. The explosions are very inconsistant ie. one grenade blows up and has a little bit of a fireball with dark gray dirt and debri flying up, but they had special emotianal grenades or something that were packed with 9000 lbs of napalm which shot japs into the air waving their hands while screaming. It was also way too patriotic for me just like we were soldiers was, I just hate it when they say I came here to serve my country and protect freedom and all that. I mean theres nothing wrong with them but just to some point they get kinda old. You know what is going to happend and this and that. Theres only so much you can tell. I would like to see more War movies within modern times. For example, Desert Storm, Somalia etc etc. Well maybe not another somalia movie but id sure like to see more modern day stuff. cybrid 0 Posted June 18, 2002 I saw Windtalkers and it wasn't that bad, however I also noticed a bunch on unrealisms that were not listed in this thread but it was still highly entertain and had people jumping in their seats the in the theater.
