Ofp: resistance delayed?

Recommended Posts

Whatever I said about carrots can be done with celery and other crisp vegetables (radishes, for example).

You can also do it with cigarettes and I'm sure you'll stop smoking in no time. tounge.gif

Let the tobacco companies die instead of you. biggrin.gif

Hey I like how this topic has turned from a delayed product to the care and preparation of vegetables. biggrin.gif

Cheers

Yes. To make the last even longer, when you change the water, rinse the carrots again and also the container.<span id='postcolor'>

thanks, great advice. smile.gif

Now my carrots can last until Resistance get's released (notice how subtly the topic was steered back on track)

If you ever notice when you cut a carrot and place then in a container with water all the good vitiams go to the water.Taste the water it will taste like a carrot and the water maybe orange too.

Wow! This thread is lasting longer than a carrot can stay crisp refrigerated in water! wow.gif

The water will only have a slight taste and discoloration. Actually, just as it was doing back in the ground, the carrots continue to draw in water. This is similar to the celery in the colored water science experiment we all did back in 2nd grade. smile.gif
