veeery nice - will start hosting the OA ver.

Suggestions for later ver:

1. Being able to reserve a slot for admin - like in doomi.

2. An ordered route for all towns (only 9towns odered as i see it atm).

3. Admin spectatemode, as admin its hard to control anything without it when used to it. (again like in doomi).

I noticed a small gfx bug. When you die and respawn the blacking out, or narrowing field of view / injury effect (where the corners of the screen go slightly dark) does not clear, it stays for the duration of play as far as I could see. Still perfectly playable but it is a bit distracting.

respawntime from 6 up to 8 seconds or more will fix it. <--latest fix to red version

Suggestions for later ver:

1.- its no problem to implement it but its not needed cause i didnt see a server with 30 players. ;-)

2. hmm, can you describe that a litle bit more? you mean more structured routes (like a south route, or what ever?)

3. spectating is planed to implement. i hope it will come up togheter with RED-version.

Yes i mean like you say a south-rute where towns come in a row close to each other so people in vehicles dont have to drive the whole map to next target. We played the 9 town standard route today but peps went crazy just getting colonel and mission ended.

Also we could not get sidemissions to work, nothing happened when accepting a sidemission.

yes, thats right. Sidemissions are not implemented yet, cause they have a very very super low priority. sidemissions are exist, but only on my hdd. :)

- no red version before my own red version is released

- no ace2 version before my own ace2-version is released

...and naturaly another name for the mission or a remark for editing. :)

Where do i edit the name of the mission, so i can let peps know its slightly edited ?

Psycho sorry i could not provide you with my server.rpt, it seemed that both my servers was set to write the .rpt at the same path, and the saved one was the one from my Doomi-server. Have been corrected now for future actions.

hi Dorph,

Do not worry about this. I have locatetd the issue and fixed it probably.

You can edit the mission name in the setup.sqf in evo main dir and in the editor by the known way.

incidentally:

i have make some spots yesterday:

i proudly present the version 2.04! As promised in this version are upcomming all RED-Versions. So the new content grow up to 8th versions in summary.

What is new in 2.04:

The biggest change besides the RED versions is the new player class Spec-Ops / Spetsnaz with the special ability to do a HALO-jump. The HALO is only for the SpecOps be inside the Airbase possible. With the new class the mission grows up from 30 players to max 32 players.

Another change is a new added town route for Takistan. (towns from north to south)

hello,

i have seen a stupid error: i have simply forget to add the new Special Force class in the Blue Takistan OA version.

So do not me bad - i like to give a hotfix next week with some other small changes. (cause this weekend is clan meeting :o)

im sorry that it took so long time but today i like to release the hotfix version for 2.04. mainly was fixed the missing SF class in version OA BLUE on Takistan. What other things are fixed you can see below in the changelog.

4: load cargo is not showing up at all in a dedicated game! if i host it myself i can load cargo but not on the server!

5: taxing a plane or chopper from their default location and then getting out and dying/teleporting makes the plane/chopper disappear and you have to wait 1800 seconds to come back if you are lucky!

6: blowing a truck up in the base caused it to stay a wreck and not respawn at all!

try to improve of the mission scripts first before adding more stuff to it! for instance the load cargo script should be completely removed because it does not work on a dedicated box!

the mission code has no structure at all! look at for instance the insurgency misison! that one has a clearly defined structure where error can be easily found!

i hope you can fix those error and clean up the code a bit better!

hi,

same answer as in the pm you have written me:

all errors occurs trough your mods. you play with ace2 a non supported ace2 version ans nobody knows with wish other stuff too.

you need an account for dev-heaven to report bugs and create tickets. if you have one you become a new button "create ticket" for reporting bugs or other stuff.

the mission code has no structure at all! look at for instance the insurgency misison! that one has a clearly defined structure where error can be easily found!

This code is structured - deep structured. all evo versions are overlayed in one code. if you not understand the code this is not similar to a non structured text! cause all versions are writen in one code it is for externals realy hard to edit or understand it.

a editing-friendly version with a"one-file-for-all" will be release at last if all other important things (like ace2 support ;)) are added.
