England 'Riots'

Recommended Posts

Riots over something like cuts to education and higher taxes look less bad then the race riots triggered over the death or beating of a drug dealer.

If your going to protest violently at least pick a good reason for gods sake.

Newsflash: In the real world not everyone gets to be a Doctor or a lawyer making $100,000+ a year.

That kind of contradicts the chief you quoted. What you said is true even for less ambitious plans in some societies: they just have no way to advance in life, at least short of absorbing a white collar worker's knowledge and skills like some kind of scifi mutant. It's a known issue that the UK's social mobility is low compared to other developed countries.

No it doesn't. Everyone single person in his band has a job.

It may not be a great paying job wearing a fancy suit and tie, but it's a job.

Breaking windows because you have to mops floors is NOT going to get you a call from Intel asking you to come work for them

It's going to get you landed in jail and a police record that may very possibly

prevent you from getting a job ever again.

Thats the attitude that keeps the people you are defending in the gutter they are in now.

Kinda like the black boy who gets beat up at school by other blacks for getting good grades and not "Keepin it real".

Poverty pimps, Race hustlers like Sharpton and bleeding heart leftists like you

do more damage then any Klan member could possibly do in 10 lifetimes.

These riots over a dead drug dealer is going to do wonders for the BNP and EDL at the Ballot box come election time.

.

Assume much

Where, and I'm asking you specifically, did I mention these riots were justified or that anyone should go easy on them?

*crickets*

I did however mention they need more police and backing down is never a good idea.

Somehow, a whole tourettes-like diatribe of "you left wing Liberals!!!' escaped your keyboard over me mentioning racism in this thread.

A deluded liberal would defend these riots at all cost but at the other end of the spectrum are those that will and do take every opportunity to espouse a lifetime buildup of ignorant racism.

Good nite sir.

What does their story have to do with the fact that some European youths really are socially stuck? The majority of such cases simply haven't the knowledge or money to pursue a better life, especially in societies where the quality of your education largely depends on how rich your parents are.

When unemployment is already a problem, employers have the opportunity to cherry pick their staff even for the most menial of tasks, meaning that out of 500-2000 applicants for a low grade physical job, only the ones who already have excellent education and work experience will get a shot and the young people who haven't made a mark yet might never do so.

The Osoyoos band was bankrupt and everyone was unemployed
until Chief Louie took over, kicked them in the ass and told them to
stop their whining.
