I literally since im a retard when it comes to this stuff, just download my addons ( i do this with all my addons) extract them via 7zip, copy all the files needed and paste them in my Arma 2 directory then i start Arma 2 CO up and they always work fine except for this one. I just cant figure out how to get ACRE to work and its frustrating because most of the online rooms in Arma 2 that i want to play require the ACRE. Ive been online looking at video tutorials, etc trying to find anyway to get help doing this, since about 2pm yesterday and im about to throw my computer off the balcony! lol someone end my agony!

trust me i have man multiple times to make sure i didnt read anything wrong i cant find that dsound.dll anywhere. this only files in jayArma2lib are, extentions, auxillery, examples, addons, version, readme, changelog, and JayArmaextension.dll. all the files except addons are empty, and there's no dsound.dll in addons.

JayArmaextension.dll means you have the new version (beta), so don't need dsound.dll!

Delete it, and make sure you have @JayArma2Lib_new, not the old one in your shortcut.

Ohhhh! so delete the whole JayArma folder and re download the new one? cause thats the one that came with the ACRE download. thanks man!

also how will i know if its the newer one, or am I thinking about this wrong? did you mean shortcut as in type it in differently in my shortcut? if so i didnt set it up that way i just copy paste all the addon files into my arma 2 addons directory ive never done the whole shortcut style even though i know everyone recomends that why im a retard i still dont really fully get how plus never had problems with it in the past

Use Six Updater!!!

Go into six updater, make a new preset, tick "beta" at the top, add ACRE and click install/update mods. Kaboom.

Look for a tutorial for it on YouTube if you can't.

Thanks Nou! I've been testing it from the UO repo with a few friends and it fixes ALL the vehicle radio issues

Thanks again for the work you put in to this mod, really unique experience.

Looking forward to the 1.4 public release so that we can have vehicle radios on public servers.

One request: could you add the feature to output direct speech and radio speech to different speakers/sound outputs?

Basically I'd like to have direct sound through my speakers along with game sound but radio sound through my headset, like a real radio...

alright im back still to no success lol. ive listened to a billion people now, and nothing works. i tried 6 updater and it just screwed up my Arma game and wouldnt even lauch it, so deleted that and back to square one.. talked to a guy today said to get on teamspeak 3 and use the help channel to see if they can help me, and cant even send a message cause i dont have the right permisions. so im still at a loss pulling my hair out right now trying to get this set up. yesterday i was told to delete jayarma_lib and download the older one but i cant even find that i can only find te JayArma_lib one so.....

Six Updater does not mess up your game.

Use Six Updater. Follow a tutorial on YouTube if you don't know how.

aight so the stuff you had me do worked great man i so appreciate it! But, lol, when in game it say ACRE not connected to Teamspeak, and when i check TS3 plugins it says ACRE_64bit.dll in red, and Api version not compatible, so what the hell does that mean?

ok this version of TS is funky, it doesnt install like the other one, when i click on it to install after i downloaded it, it just puts icon on my toolnbar on the right but i cant open a window or anything to choose addresses or anything

J-guid, when i put radio on left or right ear, beep goes down pretty much, you may should try that instead of complaining over and over again. I solved it that way for me, cause complaining isn't pretty nice..

Do I need 3.0.3 ver of TS3 to make ACRE working?

1. I have TS3 3.0.5 and 3.0.3

2. ACRE_V1.3.16.469

3. I ve pasted all ACRE_V1.3.16.469 content ts3 to ts3 arma2 to arma2 and Im constantly getting dsound.dll not loaded mEssage.

4. ARMA2 1.60 CO

I tried every single tutorial I ve found on the internet, I ve been trying with ACRE_V1.1.1.244_hotfix autoinstaler, runned as administrator, but nothing! Im getting message ACRE is not connected with TS3 although Im possesing it in plugins.

I cant belive that's so complicate and confusing addon of 4mb!

Im fighting with it for a few days..and I cant figurate out..

Why there's no simple auto-installer in a couple of steps, to make it easy for everyone! :(
