therev709 10 Posted September 18, 2011 Thanks for making a non-ACE version. I love and use ACE all the time, but because its not fully SP compatible, when I make SP missions, I typically don't use ACE anymore because of all the SP bugs. I hope to use these guys for my next campaign :)
desmondb 10 Posted September 20, 2011 My position on ACE & ACEX is that in order to have a fully functioning set of realistic units' date=' ACE and ACEX are to be required and used to their fullest extent.Looking forward however, I am going to be making non-ace configuration replacement. As much as I would like them to be ace dependent there is enough people who object, so there will be both ACE and non ACE configurations. I will be working on one for the currently released rangers soon, however I have some obligations at the moment.[/quote'] thanks for not forgetting us NON-Ace guys :)
Fox '09 14 Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) Old school cag vest for show, but here's the complete woodland crye pants. It should be down to the stitching for the G3 variant. edit: sorta kinda finished the top Edited October 11, 2011 by Fox '

Fox '09 14 Posted October 16, 2011 thanks guys. I'm working towards a non ace config in the coming week, depending on when I have my MARSOC units done. Also some work i did on my UM21 rucksack model: very early work , testing waters.

Fox '09 14 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) thanks guys It's about 6,100 cubic inches with the side pouches added on. doesn't include the patrol pack and the buttpack.. http://loadbearingequipment.info/BALCS/UM21_manual.pdf I'd find a photo or it in use but I don't think I can find anything decent. my model may be a bit tall and wide unfortunately, but nothing I can't fix. CameronMcDonald 146 Posted October 17, 2011 Cool bananas. Of course, if you get bored, a high quality backpack pack (OLOL) might be a good idea too. :D

Fox '09 14 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) now it resembles something more than a very large woodland covered PVC pipe. I want to release this as an independent addon with ace configs, filled with things ( i mean filled as in not stuffed with 400 mags but assuming there is a sleeping system, MREs, and what have you already present. I was thinking if I model a sleeping bag I could have a script that advances time 6 hours or so. Obviously a single-player function but I think it would be neat if someone would like to do a multi-day mission. Edited October 17, 2011 by Fox '

Fox '09 14 Posted November 5, 2011 I'm starting to put together a complete paraclete kit so far I have done the dual and triple mag pouches :) and some MARSOC news made some adjustments to the textures so they're less harsh on the top, and did some edits to the helmet texture. Going to switch the helmet out for a FAST helmet with rails and all, stay tuned :)
