supergruntsb78 67 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) needs acex ???? (ace 2 oa extra) why ???? this addon can get so far just without ace Edited May 15, 2011 by supergruntsb78
Fox '09 14 Posted May 15, 2011 I use ace and acex. The addon is for OA. that's why this alpha uses it. If you don't like it , wait until the final public release.
Harine 40 Posted May 16, 2011 I love ... I think your really great units. Just to see the final version I guess this will be signed addons?
Fox '09 14 Posted May 16, 2011 Dont think i understand your question, but for now no signatures. The early dev releases are not intended for online use.
Harine 40 Posted May 16, 2011 Sorry i'm French and my english is so bad.... The question I wanted to ask is: will you sign your addons in a future version?
Fox '09 14 Posted May 16, 2011 I suppose I can, sure.
antoineflemming 14 Posted May 16, 2011 Not sure if its a problem with just my game or with your models, but the backpack shadow doesn't show in the right place. when I prone, I can especially see the problem. The backpack shadow is like, on top of my head when standing, and its in front of me when prone. I'll post a pic up later.
Fox '09 14 Posted May 16, 2011 I saw that just now - fixed. Maybe I'll have another release on the weekend to deal with keys and other issues
Fox '09 14 Posted May 20, 2011 http://fox09a2.blogspot.com/2011/05/arma-3-where-we-are-going.html Some updates regarding ArmA 3 and future plans, somewhat unrelated but I hope it clears some things up on my position.

abs 2 Posted June 8, 2011 (edited) Is constructive criticism a foreign language to you? Constructive criticism is a technique used to help a person improve. Usage in this case: - If he had a normal map that looked bad, then you could constructively criticise and offer advice on how to improve. Informing someone who is already aware that these elements are missing and has probably not gotten around to them yet is not constructive criticism. If we were to define it, it is probably closer to impatience. Abs [Edit: Antoine, since you're new, here is some constructive criticism. Do not quote images; it is against the forum rules.] Edited June 8, 2011 by Abs Antoine
agamennone 0 Posted June 8, 2011 very nice work! hope to play it soon! have you plan to make some animation for the NVG arm and NV google? Btw looks fantastic! keep going! ;)
Fox '09 14 Posted June 8, 2011 (edited) Constructive criticism is a technique used to help a person improve. ah thank you good sir. Yes, the shadows are not done. I did not include the helmet because it was too high poly in its 1st lod for use in shadows, so i have to scale it down when I have time. edit: snipped, don't want to debate it here. very nice work! hope to play it soon!have you plan to make some animation for the NVG arm and NV google? Btw looks fantastic! keep going! ;) Animations? probably not. I don't think it's worth the effort, unless you mean the arm moves, but that wont look good. Maybe when in use it changes to a different model.. I'll figure it out :) thanks Edited June 8, 2011 by Fox '
agamennone 0 Posted June 8, 2011 not the arm moves, but an animation that flip down the google on the helmet. like the canopy of the aircraft when it close. there is an animation on it. an old ofp bas addon (ranger or delta, dont remember) had it for the dust google. good work again ;)
