But there's been a long history of broken sound configs, where me, kju or others fixed them time and time and again, while submitting the fixes back, and half or most of the time it seems to be ignored or laughed at. The problems can cause issues especially in MP, but also cause undesired effects in SP. Obviously we're all in it for free, but proper configs benefits everyone, and it's not like other people aren't spending their free time fixing and submitting fixes :) Of course, at the end of the day, it is not our mod, but there's nothing to loose, only to gain. Intent is only help. GOD DAMIT! Just look at the ACE RTP errors so uve to fix them first, after that uve to say sth about other mod´s rtp errors. even vanilla arma have rtp errors (!). well, as jarhead said its all free, and were happy about any help. when everyone pay 20 € for each DL, we´ll release a error free sound mod. by the way, ive no time to work on the mod anymore and after my pc crash last week i lost a lot of sounds. its like a virus, jarhead, opticalsnare and me lost all stuff at the same time....if i have time ill rework some configs and try to fix the rtp errors. I wanted to say for the m240 sound you currently have is eurphoricly ausome if that makes any sense, lol makes you feel like your holding the real gun! The more experienced people help the less experienced people to help bring around a standard. Its a simple as that. Gunter Severloh 4056 Posted March 7, 2011 Reporting something I found: The m9 pistol towards the end when your out of rds, and the hammer clicks from pulling the trigger, the sound for that sounds as if your in a room, then when you reload the gun you can hear an echo like sound as if you in a room reloading the gun. The sound sounds good and clear just it somewhat kills the immersion when you get that sound from being inside. Also the m2 machine gun sounds muffled, like it dont sound open and clear, the sound is fine its just seems like its covered. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The messages involve ACE classes but it might be mission related, where can I get the mission?Also you've cut out the CBA_versioning lines; which versions of the mods are you running? Thanks! slade1988 10 Posted March 7, 2011 @günther: i know, ive recorded it myself in a room, its like a placeholder. it was fixed in the lost version. @sickboy: The missions are MSO Takistan and Chernarus as well as Domination Takistan, Lingor and isla Duala, edited by Smokey (USSOCOM). Thats from the ace version before the last update. Im using Six Updater suite and im updating every friday (Socom based interval) Ive a lot of ace based rpt entries with using this missions. any suggestions or even a solution? Report any issues with details on our issue tracker and they will be looked at. Currently DH is unavailable due to provider issue. The rpt warnings which can actually cause troubles (Updating baseclass .. etc) are not found in the log. Of all people to say that to you say that to Sickboy, a Modder and member of the community as far as back as I can remember, and you treat him like that. When the mod has issues, and you dont know where to turn, Sickboy will be one of the few guys that would be willing to help, his in depth knowledge of the game is invaluable to what you guys are trying to do. Theres an old saying, dont burn your bridges. Sickboy goes out of his way to give you feedback and insight and you shit on it it all because your either tired of it, or frustrated either way, theres better ways to tell someone no without being disrespectful, or discourteous, or being a total dick about it. Just take some free time mate, I guess you getting frustrated a bit, because this is not easy to make. Look on my cfgs. I was soooooooooo fucking happy about the help I got from kju! I'm working over 8 month's on this, and not all rpt errors are fixed until now. Its a long time. And sadly enough we are not able to make this in some hours. There are years of understandings needed for this and this you can get from these guys! Is it sickboy or even kju, they all know the engine and the configs better than anyone of us. And I want to correct my sentence. I was saying: "Where the dominants hiking the new ones have to give way!" I should say: "Where the dominants hiking the new ones have to listen good!!!" Well, I'm a slime, I know. I'm sry for may sayings at all. I was frustrated by myself last week. That was a fatal fault to show you that this way. Hope you can forgive my little freak-out. I dig the AR series sounds but the biggest shortcoming of this mod is the lack of sonic cracks and bullet hits, if it isn't convincing incoming like it is outgoing it kills immersion for me. Have you forgotten to put a link in armaholic (and on these forums altogether lol) and the PK sounds you linked are no longer avaliable.. faulty link ? Otherwise great sounds, and great pdate too, thank you so much for adding echo sounds to some more weapons :) @sladeussoccom, did you lose the sonic cracks with the rest of those files you lost?
