Conspiracies Part III

Finally I can confirm the Part III of the very good old Conspiracies Parts from Operation Flashpoint. This is the last Part of the Trilogy. Finally the "OLD" Conspiracies-series takes an end. So no questions of part I and II will left unasked. 7 missions consisting of tons of video-sequenzes, conversations and spitted missions. 1 Mission consists of 2-6 spitted missions. This time no fences which lead the player to the way so you can chose your way to success the mission. The story is new and continues Part 2.

This is a little Teaser:

Hope you guys still want to know the end... :)

STORY:

You take control of the brother of the character from Part I & II. Now your mission is it to find your brother and your father.

Ah and to say it before someone ask: The release is in a cople of days planned. I waited with the annouce of Part III till it reached beta-phase. So we are very soon to a release!

But it doesn't matter, your work is very good and impressive, I'm a big fan of the Stalker series so its nice to continue something in that theme in ArmA 2, I'm looking forward to the release. Make sure you finish this!

EDIT: By the way, nice screen shots, I love that flooded building.

Yep yes.gif Even in OFP I played Stalker themed mods including Conspiracies, In OFP the graphics weren't on the level of Stalker but in ArmA 2 its much more enjoyable, I'm also happy that now we will be able to play the missions freely.

How far are you with this part III, did you just start or are you already in the middle somewhere?

I haven't played the ArmA campaigns but I played the OFP campaign and it was quite enjoyable.

Yea I try to make it like the old good OFP ones... story intensive, so you always know whats next, not with that free roaming like the ARMA2 ones.

Like I said it is "finished". But we are testing it atm... Anyone want to be Beta-tester? I planned 3-5 testers, who played part I & II! We still have to fight against heavy ugly bugs atm...

This is chernobyl-II an overhorizon-radarstation. It never had been used infact of the incident in 1986. Anyway you showed me an very interessting thing about UVB-76! =) I think there are some more radiostation that take part of this program. Maybe chernobyl-II should do it also... But we will never know...

How many MB's of Addons are needed to play this ?

And what island did you use ?

ca. 300MB I am using Spritz Island 1.1. Because it belongs to the "original" series we developed it like the old 2 ones. =) Other than in Source Of Evil where we are using 40-60% of own Addons and an own Island.

Some Infos about the campaign:

- 7 Chapters incl. sequences and 2-4 missions

- estimated playtime about 5-10 hours

- multiple storyends

- Stalker and Military Units

- Zombies, Bloodsuckers and Controllers

- a lot of unseen places in chernobyl

- intensive atmosphere and storyline

We are also working on a 2 new threads...

Devil Dogs and conterminated zombies + Bloodsuckers!

In this short gameplayvideo of Chapter 05, mission 02 you can see some conterminated cleaner-zombies, if they come too close you will die caused by the radiation...

This videofootage was taken from version 0.76 beta. So content may change in the final. All in all this video proof the excellent atmosphere in conspiracies part III! =) I hope you enjoy!

And the release is soooo close! =)

First off I am so pissed just yesterday I uninstalled a Stalker mod not remembering that my own mod was based on it and weeks worth of work is gone.When you use control panel it erases forever instead of moving to recycle bin sadly.Here are some ideas that I was going for in my mod if you like...

Video looks good but the massive amount of hud info removes the immersion effect.Your trying to instill fear in Stalker world.Fear is basically the unknown.Things are not as scary once they appear and you adjust to it or if that info is always known.

First is the ammo counter showing...without it now a certain portion of players mind needs to focus on that.Enemy red icons and green icons everywhere....without that again the player now is more alert to sounds in distance and the unknown.Maybe even better is the blur arma2 has built in but only on friendlies and only showing when distance is close enough to actually tell what npc is.Get rid of the voices screaming and drop the chat text way down into lower corner.

Make the nights less dark.I think its creepier when you can see far objects but everything is very vague.Then drop the flashlight intensity to compensate for the higher light levels.Here is video showing good night time light...you can navigate but really can't see.

Of course batteries for NV and flashlights so now player has another thing to worry about. :)

Sled88 please do not take offense to my post.I mean't it only as constructive criticism.There is a ton of work going into your mod and I hope to not downplay that fact in any way.Keep up the good work.... :popcornsmilie:
