some "supercars" get better milage than ya expect.. the Viper gets 15/21 the NSX gets around 30.. I dunno, them spick cars are usually thirsty

Wobble, you need new glasses. That thing is BEAUTIFUL. Look at the lines...and read the specs. 0-100K in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 320 km/h. Good lord!

It is radically different...but that doesnt make it ugly! It looks like a formula one car less the spoilers, but with an enclosed cabin.

Now, I am certainly not well heeled enough to afford one, but if I could, I surely would, especially since it's considerably less pricey than a McLaren F1 road car, and likely will be a lot more available.

everything about it is overdone.. its like they copied it out of a 9 year olds comic book (judge dread..lol).. its just... tasteless.. like they made it outlandishley curvy just for the sake of it..

I would take a Viper venom 800 over it anyday. it that would be muuuccchhh faster too, and probably cost less than half as much..

Twin turbo V-10, 833hp and 0-60 (100kmh) 2.3 seconds..

Take everything a stock Viper has and then double it. At full throttle, the Venom 800 Twin-Turbo pulls so ungodly hard your face will contort into shapes approximating a Tammy Faye Bakker halloween mask

This is not slamming the US, but the Ferrari would EAT pretty much anything Dodge could do.

The Viper IS a cool car, but it's not in the same class as Ferrari's flagship.

I'm willing to bet there isnt one curve or angle on that Ferrari that isnt there for a reason.

Actually in some parts of australia like Northern Territory there are no speed limits outside the towns or suburban areas. But then every is poor farmers or something like that ,to poor for a beast like this.

well.. considering it costs 4x as much (or more on import to the US), has 200 LESS Hp than the viper.. slower 1/4 mile times.. slower 1 mile times.  I dont see why anyone would pick it.. except on looks.. which I find quite.. bad..

I dont see anything eating a venom 800 orther than a jet aircraft.. the 230mph top speed is alos a plus.. if you want to commit a very dramatic suicide..

its faster than a McLauren F-1 and those are 1 mil plus.. if you can even find one..

Though I have to agree that after seeing the official photos of the upcoming F-60 I was utterly disappointed. As a big Ferrari fan, I always stop and drule everytime I see the 360 parked on the 5th Avenue here in New York. I once had the pleasure of seeing the F-50 at a Ferrari dealership. I didn't sit in it though I did touch the sexy bitch. I believe only 53 F-50s were imported to USA.

Once I saw a show where they showed car accidents. I swear I saw a buncha spoiled Beverly Hills pricks racing their Lamborghinis and Ferraris. One of them had the F-50, and the moron couldn't even make base 80km/h turns. He spun it out of control and crashed into a concrete wall.

Ferrari should personally interview the buyers of their exotic F series cars, because cigar smoking greaseballs from Beverly Hills have no right wrecking cars that are worshipped by so many others. Oh yea, some girl who just turned 16 got a red 360 Spyder for her birthday. It was parked in the driveway of her house with a huge red ribbon. That just annoys me. I would personally consider it legal to murder the father of that girl.

Americans never produced any true sports car. Viper is about the only American sports car I can respect, but they lack the heritage, the legacy that names like Porsche and Ferrari have earned.

Talk about racing, look at nascar. A sport which is claimed by americans to be the best type of car racing there is, though all you see is a bunch of Tennessee rednecks dricing around in a circle for 4 hours. Sometimes I think these losers should stop being something they are not.

I really hope Ferrari changes their look of the F-60. I've been following its development closely, and many of their previous concepts were far better.

Yeah, uhh, comparing a McLaren to a, Dodge Viper, Vipers are cool and all, but come on, if money werent an issue, and you had to choose between a McLaren and a Viper...Right..

as for the cost of a Venom 800

lets see there is

Viper R/T base model ~400hp V-10 magnum  ~70k

Viper ACR tweaked V-10 magnum ~500hp  ~80-90k

Viper Venom 500  V-10 magnum low boost non intercooled ~650hp  ~120k

Viper Venom 800 V-10 magnum high boost intercooled  800+hp  ~150-180k

any of which are SUPER fast..

the HP ratings do not do justace.. there is something to be said for the raw torque produced by giant NA engines like the V-10.. its something a small displacement high boost turbo could never duplicate..  like sitting on a rocket..

I drove a R/T 10 once for about 45 min.. and man.. its a scary car to drive..  you can stick it in 1st and at a dead stop.. engine at idle just dump the clutch.. and insted of stalling it will just spin out.. crazy..

in the works is the venom 1000 @ 900+ with the V-10 magnum with intercooler and water injection.. but thats on the horizon...

the Venom 800 is one of the fasted cars in the world..

which is amazing considering its a factory roll off with full warranty and full interior with AC, radio and all the nicities.

lots of the "pure sports cars" dont have a radio or AC or even full interior (no back seat, carpet.. rudamentory seats..etc)

If I were to get a "supercar" I would want it to be functional.. a daily driver, AC, good sterio.. full, lush interior.. etc etc.. not some stripped down POS thats only useful on the track.. if I want a race car Ill buy one..
