Well I just got an email from BIS, and it would seem i wont be getting oxygen to work on Winter March with

Not quite sure why, but there we go.

Here was BIS reply:

Hello,

we are very sorry, but you have not been choosen for Oxygen (granting),

but don't be sad, because the tools will be open for public use in near future.

Hmm, I just finished defending BIS to grasshopperbe, and then I read this....might make me rethink my position.

Well, not happy this excellent mod team has been refused (maybe that's it, maybe they are a little too good), but hopeful to hear that it will be being publicly released in the "near future" (packaged with resistance maybe?).

Whats most confusing to me at least, is that our modelling team for wintermarch is fairly small. In fact its miniature. Im the only one not to have been accepted.

Unbelievable. I always thought that Wintermarch was one of the sure bets for oxygen. Very strange. Perhaps they didn't like the WW2 theme.. who knows. Hopefully OFP Internals will come with their tools.

My guess would be that perhaps that is what they are waiting for. Then they will release oxygen because they can do it on their own terms with the restrictions they like.

You can always ask if Kegetys wants to join your mod, after all I heard that you had plans for adding some Finnish Winter War units to the mod. But it's sad, this mod was second in my most wanted mods list.

Unfortunately Kege is more of a freelancer and isnt al lthat interested in joining a mod team. Though perhaps now and then he might help out (he helped texture my stuka) but I cant see anything like that happening.

Okay here are some pics

(kegetys did texture and slgiht wing alteration)

(This T-34 wasnt for wintermarch, as Grave made the T-34 that we are using)

All of these mmodels were between 2000-3000 poly, which made them quite appropriate for OFP. I am/was also working on an interior for the zis range of trucks.

Even I got the contract (its still lying in a pile next to me, I changed my mind) and Im not even a modeller! I dont even have the lousiest model to show (well, actually I do, an old sten and a useless P51). But I never said that to them. Its odd. You should get it. Complain

Tough luck, kingbeast.They should have given them to you. You are a really good modeller and you're keeping Wintermarch up and running, Maybe you should ask them again, and show them this thread. Good Luck

How about, "Hey bis, if ya want the dope then ya betta get Oxygen or i'll give you a taste of your own hand to gland combat." I don't know anyways, i just put something in my letter mentioning how good they are in making a game and always admiring them.lol
