Hello! :)

I am very happy to release a beta version of Tanya for arma2 OA (Arma2 - Operation Arrowhead) ..

Short info: Tanya is a female soldier . she comes in 4 diffrent classes . (Blackop,Delta,Dessert,and Wood)

i did converted her for arma2 OA . its "S.S.Viator" who made the model and the config and Orginal skins. Its a free model . You can read about it in the readme file . There is 2 readme files one orginal readme who is made of "SS.Viator" and one readme who is made of me .

All my Credits goes to "SS.Viator" for his wonderful work

WORKS AND WORKS TO BE DONE:

I made 2 new skins for her .

I gave her a helmet too for 2 of the classes.

And i have plans to make a sniper version of Tanya

KNOW PROBLEMS:

For you who run Arma2 OA with SLX mod can sometimes hear her scream with male voice when she is hurted,

Im Working on that ,But her speech is Converted to a female voice ,her radio voice is also female .

And she has no eye or lips animations .If Bis release a Mlod on a female model from Arma2 i think i can make it works better

MULTIPLAYER:

I dont know if she works in muliplayer i have not try that .

You have to have rapidshare premium account. but if somebody can tell me about another site where i can upload my file i will do it . i am new to this . thats why i use rapidshare :)

You could upload the file to filefront.com, i always use that and it works perfectly.

No, I used the "free user" account as I'm not registered with Rapidshare. :)

You can also try http://www.filedropper.com/ for uploading your file but I also don't think that it's Rapidshare causing us an error...

Im sorry i am new to this . But is Mediafire like rapidshare.

Its not the first time people got problems with Rapidshare. It happends to me too sometimes . i have to change my upload to another site :) .as ssoon im done with it i will let you guys know it :)

Yes that is because you need to run this addon with Arma2 OA (ARMA2 - Operation Arrowhead). I can make one addon just for Arma2 later but for now you need Arma2 OA.

The mod H&G Models had a female soldier (Temp pulled from Armaholic until permission is granted as the model for the female was Alyx from Half-Life 2. Though it seems retarded to me since it was exported from Half-Life 2 years ago and Valve never said a word. But hey, it's their site.)

There is also the female secretary from the Guba and Angelina mod:

And while this is 3 years old and from Arma 1, it's a female soldier:

Maybe those mods, with permission, could be used to further develop Tanya or other female soldiers. I know its a very hot button topic. Split between chauvinistic ignorant pigs and soldiers/gamers who just want to see females for either realism or casually just because they should be there anyway. Other than that, maybe politely contact BI and see if they'd release the MLOD? I mean after all-- they seem pretty supportive of the modding community.

One of the French mods had alot of Female soldiers, they looked good, on par with AII models, if not better.
