Welcome to the 45 Commando recruitment post. We are a group of members with real life British Army experience. We are a unit leaning on the more serious side in game and during exercise but outside of game a community for everyone. Our milsim provides unique courses and roles for everyone creating a realistic atmosphere like no other. As we are new, we're currently ranging from 20-30 members as of now. Requirements Must have a Legal Copy of Arma 3 Must have a Microphone Must be able to speak English Must be aged 15 or over. How to Join All you must do to join our milsim is simply join our teamspeak or discord linked below and talk to one of our recruiter staff. From there, they will talk to you about what we are looking for and find out your perfect role. Training Each member that joins must go through a basic training called Phase 1. In this, the recruits learn everything they need to know from basic fieldcraft to medical knowledge for the battlefield. 501st Infantry Regiment The 501st IR was created in June of 2017 by a group of men & woman with the goal to create a U.S. Army Realism unit with the same quality and feel of some of the great American units out there, but specifically in range for most European time zones. EU Based Milsim Unit A European Time Zone (CET) Realism Unit based on the US Army Airborne. That’s unique on it's own! The 501st IR conducts operations every Wednesday and Sunday starting from 19:30 to 22:30 Central European Time. Our mission makers create specific campaigns and scenarios for our members to enjoy with an ever developing storyline. OSUT (One Station Unit Training) A training schedule set up so everyone will be able to join our ARMA 3 unit as a trained soldier, based on real tactics and theory from the U.S. Army mixed with in-game mechanics. Completely new to Arma 3 and/or realism gaming? Our instructors will spend all the time necessary to get you up to speed with how we do things in the 501st. When you have passed the OSUT you have the option to either join the Infantry or apply for any of the open Billets such as Combat Medic, Pilot etc. You'll also be able to join the Unit Staff (if there are openings). Perhaps you`ll be our next Instructor! 2 PARA Milsim || 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment

Consider the 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment. Information 2 PARA is a British Milsim unit, with roots dating to 2012 and a multinational group of dedicated and commited players. Here at 2 PARA we use equipment, weaponry, vehicles and a structure based closely on the British Army's Parachute Regiment and 16 Air Assault Brigade. Mods At 2 PARA we use a set of mods to enhance the realism and immersion of the game as well as bring in equipment, weapons and vehicles that allow us to accurately portray the British Armed Forces. Our main mods are the following: - ACE3 - Task Force Radio - ALiVE - 3CB BAF Equipment, Weapons and Vehicles Operation 2 PARA features a slick balance between training and missions. We organize our time into Home Rotations and Deployments. The Home Rotation focusing on training and practice while the Deployments focus on immersive, developed campaigns based on realistic story-based missions. The duration for a Home Rotation is approximately 2-4 weeks and 4-8 weeks for a Deployment. Application 2 PARA features a wide range of roles for new recruits to fill, and proper training to fit new recruits into those roles. As a friendly and welcoming community, we ensure that all new recruits are part of the group and have fun both in and out of our events.
