Petition to BIS about vehicles' functions

Hello, BIS.

Can you please answer a few questions about functions that work with vehicles' inventory.

Why since OFP we have only addWeaponCargo, addMagazineCargo, clearWeaponCargo and clearMagazineCargo functions and NO FUNCTION TO GET INVENTORY !

I don't ask inventory to be global, as vehicles are (if not created to be local), I just want to have functions like getMagazineCargo and getWeaponCargo ! Are you too lazy to add some lines of code? I don't ask terramorphing in Arma2 or realistic damaging system with breakable headlights and tanks with "dynamic armor" (or reactive armor, as you say)... I just want simple things, for which I have been waiting since OFP ! I'm the fan of your game, but everything has its limits, and patience isn't exception.

Support the idea. Please BIS add a command to get the weapon and magazine cargo from a vehicle.

There are tickets for it in the CIS.

It might be smart to also vote there in the tickets.

But generally i fully agree to your qeustion. Same goes for getting content of a weaponholder (droppd weapons on ground for instance). Not possible since OFP1 .:(:rolleyes:

I agree with you McArcher but please please ffs create a ticket at Dev-Heaven, if you are serious about seeing any issue that bothers you/can be done better etc.... GO TO DEV-HEAVEN and report it... its easier than posting here and 90% of the time your issue will actually get addressed by a tester and if he/she can repo it, it will get assigned and eventually fixed :)
