Anti-Personnel Mine field no script

How large an area can you cover with these triggers, without it affecting performance? Or does a few hundred triggers that probably won't ever be touched (it is a minefield afterall) don't have an impact on performance at all?

Link works fine, after all the hoops you have to jump through. It just downloads an empty file is all. ;)

The link provides me with what it says.... an example of a very simple minefield. Don't know what's wrong with it....?:confused:

However, can somebody give me an answer to my previous question? Is it possible to use a lot of these triggers on a large area, without lagging a mission? I have no clue as to what the max number of triggers is, that can be placed on a map. Or even if they affect performance in any way?

It will all depend on how many triggers and the power of your PC, triggers will be checked to some degree constantly. I would rather just place one trigger over an area then randomly pick a unit and spawn a bomb near him.

So that rules out covering a square mile with triggers! How would you go about setting up your solution?
