Sidemission Script Package V2
R3vo replied to austin_medic's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I have one suggestion: Would you mind putting those scripts in an extra folder? Like sideMissions/"yourscripts" ? Otherwise it creates alot of clutter, or every mission maker has to change it manually. -
Don't know, if this has already been mentioned, but I would like to see a feature, which allows us to save startup parameters to modset profiles. So you actually only need to select the preset, click launch, and one will connect to the server directly.
-
The issue has already been fixed. The fix will come with the next update, which will probably be released before christmas. Ticket Kind Regards R3vo

They should remove the MRCO then and replace it with something that doesn't cause that issue. The way it looks now is rediculous, and to be honest, I would be jobless if I finished my work only to 95%.

Dear Bohemia Interactive, will this bug ever be fixed ? Ticket 1 Ticket 2

Will-my-pc-run-Arma3? What cpu/gpu to get? What settings? What system specifications?
R3vo replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Maybe that helps ;) -
Added: Command-line parameter ‘-loadMissionToMemory’ to enable loading a mission file into memory before sending it to players What would be a possible advantage of loading the mission into the memory first?
-
That issue has been existing since launch of the alpha. I hope they'll fix it soon.
-
Yeah, that limit should not exists, it should simple pop up a warning everytime you raise your texture settings. But it's still recommended to create a new tickets, since you've got a problem directly with the settings.
-
Well, it's working fine for me, so I assume there has to be a way to fix that issue for you, without spending money on a new videocard. If I were you, I would wait for more replies here and, in addition open a feedback tracker ticket

That's what I've got, too. You can't set it to Ultra, because you need 1.5GB VRAM for that, and when your game changes your texture setting from very high too high, then it's most likely that your VRAM ran full. The only thing you can do is, lower the texture setting permanently or decrease your object viewdistance. However, it can still run full if you are in an area with a high density of objects. I've got that problem too, but very rarely.
-
How much VRAM have you got?

Many server administrators report better CPU utilisation on their server, so I believe this fits perfectly in this thread. And btw, if those dedicated server optimisations would not increase client fps somewhat at the end, why would dwarden then even bother to improve it.
-
Exactly. It will reduce the cases where server FPS limit the client FPS, therefore we will probably see a performance increase.

Authentic Gameplay Modification

Hey folks, I want to use AGM in singleplayer again, but I can't command the AI. Which PBO do I need to remove, to get access to the command menu again? -
Why do we have such a low FPS in multiplayer(MP performance vs SP performance)
R3vo replied to DancZer's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Your're definitely playing a bad optimised mission. -
http://dev.arma3.com/post/sitrep-00083 There you go!
-
Well they claim that the next update at the beginning of december will problably improve performance drastically, so as always, we have to wait and see ;)

How to return objectViewdistance?
R3vo replied to R3vo's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Had something around this in mind too. I'll open a feedback tracker ticket. -->Ticket -
Hey folks, I noticed that the setObjectViewdistance command was fixed somwhere arround v1.34. Unfortunately I could not find a command to return the current objectViewdistance. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? Kind Regards R3vo
