  1. Looks like there is an update incoming :) Dedicated server package is already updatable. https://steamdb.info/app/107410/history/ https://steamdb.info/depot/233782/history/
  2. Since last night our server is having connection problems. Some players can connect without a problem and others hang on the first loading screen which shows an overview of Altis. Untill last night we did not have these errors. Any ideas someone? I can also see a lot of steam ticket check fails. In our RPT we get these messages: 21:17:38 NetServer::SendMsg: cannot find channel #1218837737, users.card=19 21:17:38 NetServer: users.get failed when sending to 1218837737 21:17:38 Message not sent - error 0, message ID = ffffffff, to 1218837737 (MrSnavs) 21:19:46 NetServer::SendMsg: cannot find channel #1059157347, users.card=21 21:19:46 NetServer: users.get failed when sending to 1059157347 21:19:46 Message not sent - error 0, message ID = ffffffff, to 1059157347 ([nWo] SKY NL)
  3. My game runs normally and doesn't stop where you say it's caused by. This happens during game time and after a restart. Must say *knocks on wood* that it hasn't happend sinds last saturday after I changed some settings in the config and basic cfg.
  4. Can't you just kill the armaservermonitor.exe aswell? I have it this same way and it works for me.
  5. Thanks. could it be requiredSecureId = 2; that is causing the connection problems? Players, inclusing myself, get stuck (not always) on the first loading screen where it shows the map overview. In the server console I can see that the guid doesn't get verified.
  6. Thanks for you reply Dwarden. Where can I set this? So I can test. Don't really know if it's actually steam related. After our server restarted last night no one could connect. Had to restart several times for it to work again. In the end I changed GuaranteedUpdates to false in the hope that would work. I have absolutely no idea what is causing this :(
  7. My server usually doesn't even show just after I restarted it, it will only show when the mission is started. But anyway, mine shows yellow all the time. No idea why. Almost all servers show yellow for me.
  8. My server shows up with a yellow circle and a ? in it aswell. No idea why this is... If I use remote and connect direct it has a green circle. My server config: steamPort = 8766; hostName = "-NLU- Tank'n'Spank Dutch Wasteland Altis v1.0b [3PP:ON|FULLSAVE:ON|ATM:ON]"; password = ""; passwordAdmin = "**"; logFile = "a3_prod_console.log"; motd[] = { "" }; motdInterval = 120; maxPlayers = 50; kickduplicate = 1; verifySignatures = 2; requiredSecureId = 2; voteMissionPlayers = 3; voteThreshold = 1.5; disableVoN = 1; vonCodecQuality = 10; persistent = 1; timeStampFormat = "short"; BattlEye = 1; guaranteedUpdates = false; // guaranteedUpdates = true; doubleIdDetected = ""; onUserConnected = ""; onUserDisconnected = ""; onHackedData = "kick (_this select 0)"; onDifferentData = ""; onUnsignedData = "kick (_this select 0)"; regularCheck = ""; //HC //headlessClients[]={"192.168.0.100","83.87.255.243","127.0.0.1"}; //localClient[]={192.168.0.100,83.87.255.243,127.0.0.1}; class Missions { class Mission_1 { template = "ArmA3_Wasteland_v1_NLU.Altis"; difficulty = "Regular"; }; };
  9. I can see that players do not get their GUID verified. When they can connect correctly it shows verified GUID. In BEC players get stuck after verifying GUID: 0:51:37 BattlEye Server: Player #12 qqq (62.45.62.137:2304) connected 0:51:37 Player qqq connecting. 0:51:39 BattlEye Server: Player #12 qqq - GUID: 11c4cf2524f179f0ac53037da27111ee (unverified) I have no idea how to deal with this problem and it's costing me players :(
  10. Yea I fixed it the same way. And nope, running windows.
  11. My server kept crashing since 17.00hours CET. After some searching i found out that there was a BEServer.dll.new file in the BattlEye folder that was causing this. The server found out that there was a new file, wanted to install it and reload it but kept on crashing from it. How can i solve this for the future? Does the BattlEye folder need special write settings?
  12. Any other server admin experiencing this?
  13. I noticed that if I asked players to shut down arma and steam and then try again they could connect. A lot of steam ticket check fails happend to the same people who couldn't connect. Sometimes also deleting cached pbo's also helped.
  14. Sorry don't think this was v5 related. Somehow battleye had a new dll file it wanted to reload and the server crashed every time.
  15. Had two app crashes with the v5 server files right after each other. The bidump files are empty though :( Reverted back to v3 for the moment. 16. Cool, will test client tonight and server will update later.
  17. The files in /dwarden are password protected. I guess this is intentional? ;) I thought i'd get a newer version haha :P
  18. Also hearing players on our server about desync but not sure if this is related to the new arma3server V4 perf binary. Was running V3 before and heard no one. Had one CTD with the stable performance binary V4 while playing on our A3Wasteland Altis server. 19. Thanks olivieridriss I will try that. What to do if the log says EmptyDetectors found? How do I get rid of them? Thanks Dwarden, looking into it :)
  20. Ok I would love to check this as I have some addons/scripts I added myself. How can I find these?
  21. Is there a best practice for this yet?
