Hi all, Today I present to you a mission I have worked on for nearly a year, PA Insurgency. The mission takes full inspiration of the insurgency missions you should be familiar with, but is yet a little different. This mission requires ACE3 and CBA_A3. DOWNLOAD v52: GOOGLE DRIVE (10 Oct. 2016) Supported islands included in the mission pack: - Altis - Tanoa - Takistan - Zargabad - Fallujah To explain the mission in short: - AI spawn around randomly selected locations on the map - AI fortifies houses and patrols - AI reinforcements - Player controlled enemies - Killed enemies drop intel for weapons cache locations - Fully clearing a location of enemies will clear the map marker and prevent player enemies from spawning there - Destroying two caches 'resets' the mission, selecting new locations for AI to occupy The mission very much tries to keep the player's frame rate high.. through AI spawns, caching and cleanup. If you ever had FPS issues with insurgency missions before, you should give this mission a go! The mission also features: - AI caching for improved performance - Cleanup script - Vehicle service script - Headless client support - JIP support - A mobile HQ to drive around and deploy - Vehicle respawns - TOD & Weather settings The mission also supports usage of the addons below. This mod looks really promising, I love the litle bird! One request I'd like to make: What bothers me in arma is the AI often snipe the player out of the helicopter with their small arms. Would it be possible to add a littlebird variant with bullet proof window glass? That'd be awesome! -

Hi toadie2k, question about your HLC AK v1.9 pack. In the optionals folder there is no pbo for ACE compatability. Is that intended? There is a weird pbo called hlc_wp_ak_vog25p.pbo. What is that? http://imgur.com/Aq1KE3w -

Weapon Resting & Deployment Feedback

My feedback: One of the current activators of resting is by standing next to a wall, not looking over it but facing along it. As in I fear this type of resting is too unclear for the common player, why would a weapon rest here? This type of resting seems also very likely to trigger simply by moving around a compound, (unlike specifically moving behind a piece of cover) When the player does not expect their weapon to be rested, they will expect a heavy recoil kick up so move their mouse down while firing to counter. But now because of the resting the recoil is less, throwing their recoil countering off. If the weapon recoil is not predictable it will just be frustrating trying to master the skill of firing. -
This addon broke for me in latest arma3 patch (1.38?) Don't see the button in menu.

RHS Escalation-HLC Weapons compatability patch is awesome! One request: Could you please make a version which only changes the russian weapons? I don't use RHSUSAF, and running your addon now causes errors.
