    @jordanbache97 The L86A3's bipod did not deploy in the original version as it would cut through the players hand. We've since replaced the hand animation, but animation of the bipod just fell outside of what was possible to cram into this release. It's on the list for the next update. Well spotted

    @foxone different coloured weapons, whether thats camo, white and tan will be added over time We've exposed most of the weapons textures and materials via the hidden texture mechanism, so that anyone is free to add their own colours. We'd of course be very interested if anyone produces some high quality coloured variants (see SJ's message above). We'd consider including them in a future release. If you like the 200 round belts, you can now split them into 2x100 round belts, or join 2x100 round belts to make a 200 round belt. It enables you to share the ammo with the vehicle mounts.

Unfortunately it was necessary as the previous system was preventing us from expanding the range of ammo with logical naming.     We can add loading AI into the gunner's seat to the backlog. The new BAF units mod will have faction crew (ie in different camos) in our existing vehicles.

    We have discussed this at length within the team, and Evrik is correct in saying that there is no one answer that suits all. Whereas the BAF community may prefer one large mod, there are many players outside of the BAF community that use a selection of our assets in-game, but do not want the overhead of installing one huge pack. In all likelihood we'll merge the equipment with the weapons at some point in the future (no timescale on this). Just because these two packs are becoming so interrelated that it'll make dev work easier. We currently have no plans to merge either the units or the vehicles. EDIT. We are beginning to divide up the mods into multiple pbo's to enable people to pick and choose, if mod size is an important issue to them.

    @charlie1210 the Mk4 vests are largely unchanged in this release. The focus has been a complete range of Mk2 vests.
  21. Is anyone experiencing issues with using zeroing2 as an animation source? It appears that this code, straight from the wiki no longer works class OP_ROT { type="rotation"; source="zeroing2"; // use second muzzle zeroing for rotation sourceAddress="loop"; // loop when phase out of bounds selection="OP"; // selection we want to rotate axis="OP_axis"; // has its own axis minValue=0; maxValue=3; // this weapon has array with 4 distances angle0="rad 0"; angle1="rad 65"; }; The "zeroing2" source no longer appears compatible with the "rotation" type It looks as though something changed with either 1.58 or 1.60. The UGL sights on our released mods, now no longer animate correctly. Any insight would be much appreciated.

    3CB BAF Units

    I cannot comment on the sight you mention, but I'd speculate that the magnification is not x4 (using the new BI formula). We were generally okay, with our released versions as what was originally x4 turned out to be around x3 using the new formula. The problem materialized when we set them to x4 using the new formula. ie they become higher magnification and the eye position (in 3D) moves back and you get the clipping issues. Sorry there is no magic solution, its just geometry.

    I'm not aware there is a workable solution for any higher magnification 3D scopes. It's probably why BIS do not use higher mag 3D scopes

    We looked into it, and could not come up with an effective solution to remove the sight. Vehicle mounts use a different system than small arms. The best we could do was do reduce the magnification on the sight to the lowest spec available.
