  2. To get an an ID both ways, from PID to GUID / GUID to PID you can check out this page: http://arma-banlist.de/check.aspx You get ban information too, but the importsant point is that you get all ids you need if you just enter any format. Regards Arkensor

    [Bugreport] Error in Arma mission

    In the latest version, on a dedicated machine on MP and the error was present in both logs, since it is a syntax error. Someone just needs to place a ; at the end of the line, or correct the lines around it, since there seems to be a little error. Regards Arkensor

  9. If you want to execute that script remotely one somebody a.) use remoteExec since the bis_fnc_mp is deprecated b.) Read the wiki entry for remoteExec correctly. The line must be this: [tar2,((direction tar2) + 0),10,0.1,.01] remoteExec ["fn_MovingTargetOnce",<target>]; And for the target you can use allPlayers to adress all players in the game, or just an ownerID of a unit you get via (owner cursorTarget) for example or any other allowed target. Go and check for the wiki links below. Do not use nothing as target, since you do not want to adress the server with that, don't you?     Identical servers

    This is basicly what I told you right away. The arma server browser listens on ip + game port, and if other things are happening on that post like Battleye if you did not assign it a port, or have got a headless client who will do something over that port and then you have got the server who is running over that port, you end up with 3 servers, and without a headless, you have got 2. Try to setup the BE config to have a dedicated port for it, maybe then you only have got one left. Regards Arkensor

Even though the base code of all JetBrains producs is often the same, they differ in how plugins are written and some special modifactions for their main purpose. Also they differ in versions. If you installed the plugin from disk and it does not become active, the plugin is most likely incompatible. You need to use Itellij ! --- @K-Town Thank you for that plugin. I am using JetBrain tools for quite a while now, and the plugin is very useful. It The editor + you plugin outmatches my notepad++ finally. All the other language supports for other editors have got a lack of feautres or were build for mod setups I do not use. Once you fixed the mentioned error, I can use this as my active working tool. Hello there, have a look that the example from this command. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/sendAUMessage I tried to use it but, this command seems to be completly broken, or I didn't use it the right way. Maybe someone was able to successfully use that and can explain how it works. Otherwise, about the extension: It is possible with an extension for sure, since you could just try to hook into the game memory and modify it, so that it uses the connect mechanism for a specified ip and port, like steam uses it - BUT Battleye would nerver ever allow a dll to modify game ram, and I do not know if you could get into the connect meachnism without any reverse engeneering. This is something else than scanning for a variable adress pattern, for variables in the missions. I am not an "expert" about the <modify game so it connects> part, but if there is a way, and I would get information on that, I could try to write an extension for it. Regards Arkensor

    Laptop won't stick to table

    Hello celludriel I think what you need is this: _pc attachTo [_table, [0,0,<height in float value>]]; The thrid paramter defined how high the laptop will be attached to the table. Play around witht that paramter until the height matches the hight you want for the laptop. For example: _pc attachTo [_table, [0,0,0.2]]; Would make the lapop beeing attached way lower than your old code. If you still need for explanation about this feel free to message me.     stealing mission files

    Are you beeing sirous? You registered yourself here with a username like 08091949 just to ask with google translator how you could now get your revenge? First of all, it was defently not your mission. I am 99% sure, that you just edited a little bit in a mission from someone else eiother you "stole" from their server or downloaded somewhere. Second, you are free to do with arma missions what you like to do. Even if he would post it public and also all your other server files, no one would ever care about that. It is not your conent, it is community conent. And everbody can take what he or she wants to. I also guess just out of nowhere that you own an altis life server. Also in that case, you downloaded Tonics work, and now complain about your little argument with another person editing tonics conent? Please think again, and use the search function on AltisLifeRP.com or here, since you will find 100 other topics, from "mission makers" which missions have been stolen, which have been told the same. --- Even if you developed the cooles gamemode in the world, and someone taks it, well then bad luck. You can not say, ohhh BI take down that server since they copied that script from my server, or took my whole mission. Sorry to let you now, but maybe you should take care about who you are working with, so that does not happen again Regards Arkensor

  21. Hello guys, just a quick update on the linux version. I just compiled the third running version of A3Log, which now features all the conent from the windows version. Before I release it in public, I need some testers for it, since I changed some things, and do not have got much experince oabout linux servers, and their potential issues. If someone is willing to give it a try and give me some feedback please drop me a pm on these forums, and I'll send him a download link asap.     Identical servers

    This has nothing to with TADST, I have the same issue, I even habe got 3 displayed servers: 1 is the real server, one is the headless client and one is battleye since the latestest update. I think the arma server broswer thinks that those would be servers too, even if they are not. I am not a 100% sure but, it has something to with that, and not how you start your server Regards Arkensor
  23. This can not work. Arma expects a format like this: <name>.<map>.pbo so you could so something like: "A3Wasteland_v1.2b.ITG.Altis.pbo" and you mission name for the server cfg would be: A3Wasteland_v1.2b.ITG.Altis Regards Arkensor
