    Heya mate, first off, great addon, especially the missing lockers and beds in the base game bugged me for a long time. Quick question though: would you consider making the outside of the locker a hidden selection as well, so we could add some nametags?
  2. try putting that in your missions description.ext disableChannels[] = {0,1,2,3,4,6}; // 0 = Global | 1 = Side | 2 = Command | 3 = Group | 4 = Vehicle | 5 = Direct | 6 = System don't know if it works with the ace mapmarkers system since we're not using that. On a side note. could we have a custom key-binding for the line-drawing mechanic on the map?
  3. having an issue with the javelin. when shooting any vehicle from the front the missile falls short 100% of the time, with both direct attack and top down. Can anyone reproduce?

    Heyz, we've tested it again today and came across some issues. The uparmored part around the M2 gets too easlily penetrated by 7.62mm. The other gunners seat completely breaks to the point where it doesn't show up in the addaction menu after getting out once. Furthermore the inheritance from the apc gives the car too many wheels (agm shows 8 I believe) hence repairing only the visible ones let's you cruise with 12km/h beacause the other 4 wheels are still broken. I really like this project and would love to use it with my group but as of now we just can't, unfortunately.
  5. If you have a scope that is properly set up for mils, then it's (height of target*1000)/height of target in mils = distance to target. To check that place a guy at exactly 1000m away from you and he should be 1.8mil high on your scope. Don't really know if that's what you meant. A standing guy in ArmA is 1.8m tall, so you can use that. But be aware of errors due to perspective with varying inclination angle.
  6. I have a few questions regarding the medical system. 1. What is the real use of the surgical kit? I tried using it several times but saw no effect. module is set to anyone and anywhere. 2. Units seem to be invulnerable once unconscious, yes they get more wounds but do not actually die. 3. bloody bandages and stuff spawn in quite a big radius of about 20m, used to be closer to the patient in alpha. (very minor inconvenience)

    yeah, saw yesterday that there's a 50m difference between arma's zeroing and what the flip up sight shows throughout.

  11. The best course of action would have been to wait until all mods that use cba keybinds (which you could find out by looking at configure>>controls>>configure addons) are updated for the new system and then update them and cba in one go.

  14. Hello, Since 1.4 the Insignias tab in virtual arsenal, both from main menu and from mission, are always empty. This is also the case when I start ArmA without any mods. Is someone experiencing the same or does someone know a fix? Thanks in advance

    TF47 Launchers [WIP]

    We were using your launchers from your weapons crate today and not from the VA but we still weren't able to reload them, even after waiting two minutes before trying to "reload".

    it's a scriptheavy addon, so of course it's going to have an impact on performance. No clue how it should affect graphics though. That's why LJ was so kind to release JSRS Lite, which scratches the scripts. People with performance issues should probably check that out.
  18. if the result is the desired one sure, why not. Honestly I would prefer not having to use multiple menus for that but if it works I'm fine. We've tested some more and found some things. - When Guy A flies the UAV with the regular UAV Terminal and Guy B uses Ctab to steer the camera at the same time everything works nice. But as soon as guy C tries to access the UAV feed full screen as well, guy B's game goes all weird and he has to reconnect. No "Another guy is already streaming" message came up which only appears if guy A is not in the driver) So an additional function to see the gunner's view full screen without assuming control would be awesome, if that is even possible. - The little PiP thing with the UAV feed does not seem to properly represent the center of the camera's view. Gunner wanted to show me something but my PiP was way off. (my settings were maxed out) - View distance for the PiP seems very limited but I think only BI would be able to fix it Haven't had the chance to test it with more players but will probably do so onced the marksman dlc rolled out.
  19. I just tried this addon for the first time, and I am now wondering what kept me so long. This is just phenomenal. The only thing I would like to see in the future is for us to rename the groups on Bluforce tracking

    they do behave differently though. Spartan will have to tell you the specifics but 855A1 is the standard ammo used up to I think 300m and the third one (mk318) is for more close range engagements (a little more spread etc)

    mk262? it's basically 5.56mm NATO designed for longer range engagements. Ideally used in the mk12 or SAM-R

    this x 100. Just tie it to the object draw distance an we're good. Playing as spotter is so damn frustrating atm. plus everything the ballistics nerds are talking about. I don't understand half the things they say but I want them to have better starting point for their great addons and less frustration,so just give it to them :D
  23. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but a fix for the coordinate grid on panthera would be very appreciated. Other than that I absolutely love it.

    Arma 3 - Marksmen Community Challenge

    I am honestly a bit disappointed by the pictures so far. We've got a somewhat blown up MXM and an incredibly blown up AAC Honeybadger. I am also not sure what to think about the MG designated for .338 (Yes, I know of the LWMMG). So far there is nothing in there I would consider using over any mod. I was also hoping for a more down to earth approach. I liked the M200 in the game since it's futuristic but does exist, so I was hoping for something along the lines of a "year 2035 L115" which already is a series of "future weapons" that is very likely to still being used in 20 years (look at the M40). But admittedly the models and everything look good and I don't like the ArmA3 setting at all, so take my feedback with a pinch of salt, please. They will most likely be good additions to the base game and my opinion about the base game should not dilute the fact that these look very well made.

    Still does not work properly for us. I will try to describe it as best as possible. often, when you take the AT-4 from the Arsenal it is already ready to fire (sometimes with the ironsights out, sometimes retracted, sometimes even in between). It can be fired, reloaded and fired again. It's very weird to describe. I might hop on your Teamspeak and describe it to you in person if you prefer that, can't upload videos I'm afraid. (this is what I mean by the in-between ironsights)
