The point of view is, in my mind, too much to the left of the weapon. It actually sits really close to your face. I believe this would help in naturally adjusting on the fly, to have the barrel pointing more at where you're actually shooting. Same thing with the 3rd person. Changing it to be more in the popular style of Ghost Recon ( Over the right shoulder, character on the left slightly ) would greatly help with instinctive shooting, because you can see the weapon pointing at the center of screen. It also looks a lot nicer. These should be added as options to the game, so they can be used in the multiplayer, instead of unsigned mods that cant be utilized because of fear of cheating. A simple tick in the Game options " type of 1st person pov and type of 3rd person pov " " Normal or adaptive " Thank you in advance for all appropriate answers.     Hit registration

    As in topic, hit reg is TERRIBLE. Shots not registering, lag, shots missing even when on target, shots going on target when target is lagging out ( free kills ), shots not registering as damage even though character is flinching. Seriously, you try to make a shooter where you absolutely CAN NOT effectively shoot people ? Close combat is a effin joke, with people's pings, twitchy movement and random damage values. I just shot a guy in the back of the neck 7 times, he turns around and one- shots me. This is how an effective flanking manouver usually ends. Fired a 3 round burst at first, didnt die, shot again, turns around and kills me. Fair ?

    Lag caused by other players

    Empty multiplayer servers run fine, 10-20 people run fine but anything over drops EVERYONES fps' to under or around 20. Why is the player amount so much in contact with how people's computers run ? Its a couple characters more on a massive map. I DO NOT CARE what " Poopmaster24 " is doing on the other side of the map, only update what Im seeing in front of me. Is this really so hard to achieve ?

    Hit registration

    30 ping, eu server, other player was lying still. His body was twitching around " clear marker of hits registered " but apparently no damage delivered. Target was.. maximum 10 meters in front of me

    Missing items ?

    Anyone else just randomly lose their gear and items from their backpacks and satchels every now and then ? Same thing with moving weapons from one crate to another, their magazines disappear by themselves. Also, why cant you apparently fit a sniper rifle or a light machine gun in your backpack, unless you are straight up replacing it in your inventory with a smaller weapon ? ( cant have 2 " high class " weapons at once ? " ) Why is this ? Either make it not fit at all or make it movable by default.

    Netcode, lag, getting out of sync. Familiar with them yet ? If not you havent been online longer than 2 minutes. Every server out there randomly spazzes out, freezes you or enemies in space, loses connection, causes players to move either in advance in relation to your screen or delayed ie. bad netcoding. Why fix something as futile as how rabbits react to you, and still have broken- ass game mechanics ?

    And then howabout reducing friendly fire to 50% ? And how about making teamkilling punishable by death and banishment by default ? The biggest problem with this - mission - type is your own team, not the enemy
  8. Why can your teammates loot YOUR backpack without you knowing or hearing ? Why arent YOUR items locked to YOU so they cant be stolen. Why is wasteland so badly designed ? Why is 90% of players online total retards, stealing, teamkilling and yelling german insults over the chat. Im so close to being done with this game already, and its not even released

    Posting concerns for Sa- Matra, because GOT gives me 25fps, no matter what graphical settings and Id expect they are aware of the shitty performance. Thanks for telling that there are mod dev pages on these forums. However all of the concerns also matter in regular gamemodes and should be looked at/ fixed. Making these threads and raising concern is the only way to get the thing through to anyone.

    > Not from your friendly team ---------- Post added at 12:59 ---------- Previous post was at 12:56 ---------- Also, radio voices, vehicle physics, vehicle speeds, vehicle collisions, players getting stuck in rubble and buildings, flashlights available in the daytime, weapon animations ( particularly loading rockets ), poor performance in certain gamemodes ( fps wont go above 25, compared to a constant 80 in singleplayer ), destruction ( objects glitching and floating ). And the best part.. THESE ARE ALL THINGS FROM Arma 1 and Arma 2 that NEVER got fixed. And thats just at a glance, this thing needs some serious work, when is the release date supposed to be ?

    FPS problem.

    My fps plummits from an 80 in singleplayer on high, to a miserable fucking 16 in 50 player multiplayer. This is just ridiculous.. Does the game render what all 50 players are doing exactly on the map at all times ? It should be cut down to only updating inside your viewing distance. I dont care who picks their nose on the other side of the map. Is there any explanation ?
  13. * Id like to see a bit different nightvision colourscheme, a bit more greyish, still green but add a hint of grey in there to make it feel realistic. ( ie. Metro Last Light had an awesome theme in theirs ). * Controls menu - setting for inverted flight controls, I couldnt find one, setting all buttons for jets and helos is tedious. * Rook pistol model and recoil still twichy * No item inserted or moving when loading most weapons, ie. does not actually insert a magazine or shell / open a port on the weapon. // Animations of weapons. // Animation of bolt action sniper, bolt moving * Pistols and rifles have same magazine model even when loaded with an extended one * Soundtrack on weapons when firing on full auto. Next sound stops previous one and goes on top ( FN2000 etc. fast firing weapons ) need more echo on the previous rounds. * Scope textures on some snipers are really blurry. * Ability to lower bipod on mg's, snipers. * Ability to remove and add a bipod on rifles, assault rifles * Small on switch/light for the user with infrared beam to show that it is actually on. Wont confuse when not using NV / not sure if the enemy can still see yours. ? This is just an idea, not sure if they really have those. Small things, otherwise great GREAT improvement over Arma 2. Now for a glorious pack of weapons to play with :)
