I'm trying to open a paa file from air_f_beta in arma 3 but it keeps saying "Error loading 'file-name.paa'". How do I fix this? Also, not a major problem but when I press open and press on any folder the application quits.

Don't take this the wrong way, I love the A-400M, but I just want to see a plane with turbine engines. I like the looks of them better. Makes it feel really modern. But most of turbine jets are pretty big and surely too big for BIS's tastes. I believe you, but have you preordered and played SimCity 2013? That was literally the biggest disaster in video gaming history. This game is approaching it... We will see at launch.

I came here to literally say this. I had such high hopes for this game since it got released. I even preordered it the day it allowed us to, for two people.

My biggest problem is that the only jet we get to see on release is the buzzard. It's a direct port from ArmA 2: ACR with just two custom textures. This is the only official jet we will see until a new expansion will come, which will possibly be paid DLC, but I don't know. 2-3 Months of having a copy-pasted jet.

Since the buzzard is on independent, you have to spawn a ammo truck from indepedent side. I tried and it worked.

Man I can't believe they just ported the L159 from ArmA 2 and just retextured it and that will be our one and only jet for release until a new expansion comes. God knows when it will come out.

Is it possible to put custom models and stuff into missions directly? Like I know you have to put @CustomContent in your startup parameters in order join specific servers but is it possible to directly download the models from the server?

In ArmA 2 there used to be a reticule in the middle of the screen and when you dragged your mouse the car steered and went that direction. In arma 3 it feels like the car never returns to the position and it keeps going endlessly in that direction. Is there a way to do it how arma 2 has it or was it intended?

But will we ever in the future get any civilian jets, or at least a transport plane such a c-130? I remember recalling that the ArmA devs do not care about air combat, but a lot of us here would really love to just fly around the 6 airports in Altis transporting troops and combat fighting.

If we see a C-17 in the game? Does that mean we have a chance to see reverse thrust on land? :D
