    For 1/2 lights were not on, after 3 questions, where is this info ?^^ Actually even with 10 vehicules, you can't have all the lights from them. Lights were as pregnant woman who does not stop eating chocolate. Difficult to contain here :), frame drop issues.

  4. If lighting tweaks, why players say on the forum than half of the lights on Stratis were off ? More info^^? For water, i think we must wait the end of the year, when we would have more submarine vehicule. Actually so less players use this party of gameplay.

In 3nd view^^, sun had a geometrical form, nor circle... why only in 3nd view, mystery^^

    And ? blablabla ... Since OFP We have same old menu, many scripts, the same editor and more. They improve it since 2001 ok and ? ... We are in 2013, i think than many players lost than the BI was also on the war simulations. They can't use all the functions from the simulations even if we want it. That's all.     I test a little scenario : One west man (player) with gun and bagback. One east man (AI) without gun, only uniform. Vehicule empty : chopper and hunter. The enemy show me and he move, stop, and look me (same comportment since OFP in 2001). I put a gun on the ground, no react from the enemy. I put all my equipment (bagpack, gun and more), no react from the enemy. And no react to take ammo or other from vehicule. AI need to learn how to take gun on the ground ? If AI don't have ammo with their gun, he move a little and stop, and show the player... The easiest solution for all (AI and player), a little short combat with cut or Tazer gun. If in 2035 a civil or an soldier human can't went in the war and defend his life because he don't say how to use theses hands, it's could problematic^^. We do not have a great animation for that, but it's would be very necessary when we don't have ammo and could be very nice in buildings. (implement also the function to capture a man as jailer if the man have no gun, no cut and ammo) The hardest solution : by default, AI must learn to take gun or ammo on the ground, on vehicule or more. And mainly : move and went steal when it look an enemy in the case if the AI don't have ammo... ____ Ok, we can use script for these actions, but in normal time, AI could be have nice reaction by default...

  10. Hello Guys, An old project since 10 years in Arma series : Stargate. Nobody work on it ? Under an recent video on the old Operation Flashpoint ^^ Old name of the mod : DSF StarGate There is also some another mods from Arma 2 i think (but maybe imcomplete), in the video; it's the mod i had in a old time, and keep a very very great memory with the passage trought the circle with cutscene from the series :) particle from the circle when it's open, iris close option to kill ennemy and more :) Cordially G.B

Was already here with mod but without rope... ^^ If they use walkable interior as the latest vbs2 version of june 2013, ok :), but i don't think they would make it. In addition : unofficial but in the alpha animations : - Fire from cargo position from chopper, more vehicule ? i don't know but if for chopper, we can make the animation for all the vehicules :) (and include limits to didn't use launcher in cargo (in default mode, but possibility to unlock why not) , ... otherwise it will be a beautiful mess in pursuit races - Jump In run mod.

  13. But very pleasure to play BO 2 with this option :), visual only ok but nice :p and with the universe of Arma who was so static, i take it without problem. In comparaison of another game, the atmosphere of the game was boring, very few animals, very few sound (actually), i don't want to walk in an death atmosphere all the time.

    PhysX3_x86.dll Crash

    After two month to play with the option physx : only on the CPU (configuration panel of nvidia), i have no problem. I think that my game was a bit slower and it crash with the normal option (physx on GPU). For AMD Card, physx don't have option to choose directly the CPU ? Ok, AMD Card don't have physx and in "normal" time in this case, physx use directly the CPU, but with the status of beta, maybe the link with the CPU was not here. Cordially. G.B

    Hum, In my opinion, Sun must have more luminosity or "reflect", whatever the time, i have never problem to see in the direction of the sun, maybe i lost a little visual and i must show under, but a "very little". Other people, what do you think about that ?

Hello all, Since the begining, since Operation Flashpoint in 2001, when we were in the default scenario where we have a squad leader in vehicule or squad leader who want drive a vehicule with another"crews of vehicule" and soldiers in cargo, it was very boring to select AI squad or a AI member of squad when you want easily disambarking only the AI soldiers (+players) in Cargo. If we want to disambarking only the AI soldiers (+players) in cargo, we can : Select all players and unselect crew of vehicule, Select manually the AI soldiers in cargo, F3+F4+F5+... Create before a team (blue, red or other) to disambarking the team, To win time and pleasure of use the old menu : I suggest easily to : vehicule crew to have directly a team (blue, red or other), or/and a key (F5? or other with name Cargo : for all AI soldiers (+players) in the cargo, or/and a key (ctrl+F..) to lock unlock vehicule crew in selection of soldiers who disambark Players, what do you think about that ?     BlaBlabla... When we see all the games who don't have beta, the boring free to play, we can't really rage against Arma series. It's not perfect ok, but it's better than to have only Battlefield :) When we see the massacre of CodeMasters with the original Operation Flashpoint ... After, Dev's were serious and when he spoke about the delay of that and that, i think that was normal, just to see our opinions and have Blablabla... comments. For all the players who love sim, sorry we are so less in compare to all players who plays MMO, sports and cars, for this reason, if BI lost players with the new accessibility why not but a bagback don't save you when you are a noob, you died, died and died vs the other players and that, whatever the game, that's not change :)

Actually, I'm in war against the very boring LOD in Agia marina and the road to the Airfield where i lost many lights arround the gate in the city, and where i'm in the city, all the lights on the road to the airfield were down^^. But all my friends don't have this problem and don't know really the game, editor and more. Maybe, I'm crazy^^. For the limit of light, i can see it when i have 10 or more vehicule with light, not all lights were on. For a easy test, no script to put light on empty vehicule ?

    Thanks, you don't have sleep this night ?^^ to answer since yesterday^^. Hum for water, the improvement of shader and physic with water would was the same than the latest version of VBS in June ? (reflexion, no problem shader and more, glasses view). We can test it with pleasure to improve with dev our opinions. For the snow as the rain, i can imagine than the old effect of rain or the new could be transform in snow, with the rebound script of particle and time of particule in addition i think, a snow by defaut on the ground of the map and we loading it. (can't possible to generate a dynamic ground snow in real time with this engine, i say). More info ? i don't have found this note.     Planned ? to implement Aurora Borealis ? or a little Rainbow^^ ? (and sound for wind ? when we are on the ground in the valleys or on water (it's could be very impressive and nice to do no hear soldiers with many rain and wind^^) Since the alpha, with improvement of sky and cloud. I see again at this status of beta, than when you move the camera no problem, but when it moves too quickly from one corner to another, clouds deform. Visually boring, but that's a detail.
  23. NOT BY DEFAULT SORRY. I test it. I take a AMV with 8 Guyz. I select all and option in menu disembark. All soldiers in cargo get out, ok but after few seconds, crew get out also... If i have a big plane with many squads or other, i don't want select all soldiers, and unselect my crew or select only soldier than i want.

    3 Light effects for sun, depend of angle. One, effect was cut. In my memory, sun have a increasing luminosity in the alpha. Why not to save it ? and have really impact from glasses^^ with a simple coeff of visibility. If you have diver glasses and you have bloom underwater if you don't have it, it's very easy to have a light bloom without glasses not? Sun 1 , Sun 2 , Sun 3 Vehicules of Beta in Day Vehicules of Beta in Night Zamak, same than hunter, left light should be have increasing Quad and Offroad ok Offroad with angle, ... (left light ?) Ifrit front, ok Ifrit with very little angle, .... (left light?) Hunter HMG and GMG, .... left light, halo light ok, not the texture of light, bad luminosity of white texture on vehicule. On right, normal hunter, no problem. BTRK .... hum bad AMV 7 ... great with angle, big luminosity, not possible to all the bad white texture in comparaison of ifrit, hunter, zamak or other, the luminosity was very great here : great but not realistic, i say... MSE 3, the same MSE 3, zoom front, less lumninosity, less detail of light IFV 6c, so less luminosity, no halo Orca, no problem,KA 48 ... not finished MH-49 ... not finished MH-9 AH-9 No problem In addition, in my first topic or feedback tracker, light could pass through against middle of cross windows in house.

    I take screenshot tonight or tomorrow for all the problems who were already here. Not dramatic problems, but here^^, if we have not finished lighting of the first vehicule, why to have another who work^^ And with angle, test on normal hunter, you have the effect of headlight all the time, all the angle, on the ifrit or other hunter, or other, the light was cut with angle, why not, but why the only hunter?^^ For sun it's the same.
