    I spent a couple of hours enjoying zonekiller's Lost survival mission........which includes a feature to collect rain water when using an empty canteen.

    The video in the Sitrep gives me hope for some K-9 activity sometime soon in Ravage, whether it be companion or foe. When it rains my inclination is to double click an empty can to collect heavens tears.......but I'm told "there is no water around" Could/can collecting rain water be a Ravage feature
  5. Hey cosmic10r, Regarding the Takistan port......would be more authentic to theme the dress code of all the protagonists to that specific region , especially the zeds. A few of the officially supported mods for Ravage include authentic Middle-Eastern attire. The WarfareThai mod and Takistan would work well together, a little tweaking of the gearlist could achieve a more authentic experience. I want my Takistani zeds dressed in thawbs, kufi caps and shemaghs...... :P
  6. Check the OP of the Ravage thread, Haleks lists a set of ACE modules that are tried and tested, i have used the set-list myself and had no problems with saved games etc. ;)

  10. @Cosmic Yes, loot spawn on Jade Groove is VERY limited due to lack of buildings, I have the loot settings cranked up to 100%, but as I said earlier gear can be harvested from Bandit engagement....always good fun.
  11. Should have said this in my first post......... Cosmic, you are a Star for taking on this little Ravage side-op........Kudos to you my friend. ;) I'm no scripter, but i have thrown out a mission or two in the past.....so, if there's anything i can do to help drop me a PM.
  12. Hi Cosmic, My vote would be for a Jade Groove version. ;) Been having a ton of fun using the Ravage modules on this masterpiece, and Sigma-6 Birds and Bees mod is right at home here...... My preference would be pure vanilla Ravage port with the addition of maybe some generated bandit camps. The maps not really big enough to support a believable Heli drop script. Buildings are sparse, so surviving would mostly come down to Bandit engagement.

  14. Hi Sigma-6, Just had a blast around with these bad boys.....totally awesome and they all have a nice snarl and grunt to them. ;) Your original and totally beautiful vehicle pack from A1, was then ported to A2, is it something we could see in A3 some day..........

  18. I have spent too much time trying to set up a custom soundtrack for my own personal consumption without much success for the longest time......this takes the painful sting right out of that process. You, my friend, are a Star....... :angel:

    I'd like to add a few points to my earlier post....... I have been play-testing Ravage on this terrain for a few days now (primarily to help the map author find bugs and misplaced objects etc.).....and i'm quite captivated by it. The buildings share the same destroyed/derelict look Haleks created for the Altis version of the Ravage demo mission, so it lends itself to such a scenario, you get the feeling something bad happened there....... As the map is a working Beta, it will be updated regularly...... Here's a little bonus for my fellow Ravagers....... After a PM with the map author (god-father), i explained about the survival mechanics for Ravage and he has agreed to place water sources (barrels and fountains) around the towns and FOB's.....and a few randomly placed in the cave systems. ;)

    Saint Kapaulio Terrain [ W.IP]

    Hi, Spent another couple of hours exploring this quite astonishing terrain (no misplacements to report this session. ;)) The high level of detail at virtually all four corners is quite breathtaking. Performance is rock solid considering the amount of placed objects. This terrain is just perfect for playing the Ravage mod as most of the buildings share the same derelict/destroyed look that Haleks has created for the Altis version of his Ravage demo mission. I'm curious, is this your first terrain? Keep up the splendid work. :icon_eek:

    Hi, grid position 074140 (Sandbag Bunker underneath Cargo HQ building) grid position 150109 (Small Radar Tower slightly misplaced) grid position 151110 (Military Office Building raised above sloping terrain) grid position 188087 (Building at top of the mountain slightly raised above terrain)......this place is desolate and beautiful. grid position 080134 (The Prison.....is just f*****g perfect) ;)

    @HeroesandvilliansOS......I'd highly recommend trying out the St. Kapaulio map, it has a really cool tropical vibe similar to the classic Lingor Island. It needs a few additional addons to run, but it's well worth it. It has a mix of both Arma 3 buildings and JBAD buildings, All the Ravage modules function well on this terrain. ;)
