confirmed. thanks! but I imagine that change didn't make it into the default-branch, so I kinda have a dilemma if I should update my mission(s) of not. especially if there's no plans to update the default-branch until release

confirmed. that is a problem for my 'no nvg night mission' are "Objects (Lamps)" (street lights) ever coming back to the editor? (I might spam that question, since I've asked a few times with no response)

I could argue that's more or less what happened the thing is, after the announcement about the campaign not being finished at launch, there were a great deal of questions about what content would be available at launch, and when and if stuff would come later. I don't think they should have attempted a Q&A until they were ready to answer those questions

almost every serious question was met with "we'll speak on that next week", "maybe, but no promises", etc is does make you wonder why even bother with a Q&A if you're not gonna be able to answer any questions ---------- Post added at 09:06 ---------- Previous post was at 09:02 ---------- it was asked about in the Q&A. the answer was something along the lines of "that's one of the most requested features, but it'll take some work. no promises..."

I think it's in their best interest to do that asap. that way at least 'the community' can start making content for it in time for launch

yeah, all these appeals to 'visions changing' have been pretty vague no offense BI, but without details, it just sounds like a bunch of fluff

I updated this post also it seems the actual pbo file, for missions you subscribe to, is kept in 'the cloud'. you only d/l the image associated with it

that's not really what they said though. if that were the case, why not at least confirm that there will be additional "content" (not on that list) if the campaign is waiting for content that may or may not happen, that seems to suggest things are really 'up in the air'

I've been wondering what happened to the street lights. they were very helpful for night missions, and they seemed to work fine. I've heard they're still in the default-branch, but I'm too lazy to switch back and forth to check yesterday I also noticed I couldn't find the fireplace. I know there's mods that will unlock all this stuff, but I'm kinda curious why they're no longer in the editor

yep, I had that issue with the Walking Dead game. I played the first one, but by the time the second episode came out, I realized I didn't really remember what happened in the first one. I ended up waiting for them all to come out, rather than deal with that every time my question still stands though. is that the 'final list', or should we expect more assets (as well as the campaign) after release?

have they said that though? if they're gonna be adding additional assets after release, they need to come out and say it. this "maybe it'll come later" logic can apply to anything you can think of, but that doesn't mean it'll happen...

yeah, just keep the name the same. at least that's how it worked with Portal 2 edit: actually that's not really how it works. when you go to re-publish, on the left it should list the items already in the workshop, and when you click one, give you the option to 'update' it

those are from one of the last few updates. I noticed because it messed up the chemlight modules I was using in a mission (I just had to reset the color, and they worked fine)
