AFAIK All AI calculations on server are done client side, hence why players get poor FPS in MP

OP is talking about MP performance. And there is no excuse for poor MP performance other than BI poor coding.

Then why did you buy the game? A3 is unoptimized sure, but how does that relate to fun? This thread is about unoptimization, not fun. If you don't find A3 fun, why did you buy it?

I think OP just wants to know if there is a way to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition now and get all the bonus packages...

Obviously you don't expect every person with issues to go post about in the forums. If you look at the community hub, reviews, comments, videos, you will see a lot of complaints about performance (especially MP)

What's up with all the sudden BI defenders. Bad scripting isn't the only problem for bad MP performance. INFACT, why can a server even impact a clients performance?

So, if you go into MP, you will have the exact same FPS as in SP on all servers? No server ever lowers your FPS? You never get FPS drops? I find that hard to believe... Also, 200 pages and a the most voted feedback ticket can't be shrugged off as a "minority". That's a very large percentage considering that's just 200 pages on this forum. Go look at the A3 community hub, reviews and etc. and you will see how many people are complaining about performance. I don't see a reason for your sudden BI defence. None here is saying this game sucks or is insulting BI, people just want answers.

Not saying it hasn't (it's been a bumpy ride though, with patches lowering FPS), but the devs have been pretty silent about it. In the beginning, Dwarden said that the performance is poor because of some bug that they will fix, and later they promised a peformance blog. They never spoke about those things again. Yeah, my GPU is weak. I'm thinking about upgrading it soon. But I still think performance could be better in some areas (MP, water)!

BI has been very good with communicating about the game, but they are pretty much ignoring the performance.

Some coder already tried 120 players on his CTI version, I was there when they were testing that. FPS was relatively fine, but the server started lagging and players warped around...

I'm pretty sure 227 pages, most voted feedback ticket, a problem in every A3 review, and more posts about it on the internet are not a "minority"... I've seen dozens/hundreds of people posting their specs. And almost no dev response. I remember being promised an optimization dev blog 5 months ago, where is that now?

Yep, takes too many shoots to kill an enemy! The most annoying part is when they just twitch and run off or instantly turn around and headshot you!

Campaign was awesome, only AI was annoying at certain times. Can't believe they still headshot you in 1 second!

Mortars were never really accurate. And you can still finish the mission if you fail the task.

I also think I have lower FPS in the last update. New rain, lightshafts?

Could it be the new lightshafts?

It should definitely be possible to make PS in A3. If made well, it would be awesome...

Altis wasteland is epic, but why is there no smooth day/night cycle? It's in the vannila A3, so why isn't it here?

Can you fix controls activating while chat is active? Really really annoying...

What did you just say?! You want the same shit every year, overpriced DLC's (which were cut from the original game content), bonuses which should only exist in F2P games, slow patching and bad support?
