Since you seem to be an expert on this level I have to ask: Would it be possible to change the handposition of dead bodies? Dead bodies will always have their hands pushed as open as if they were trying to show off their finger nails to a girlfriend of theirs... The hands should be half closed. Would it theoretically be possible to change this via a mod? Greetz! -

Wow impressive work! I didnt think the community was able to deliever such qualitative animations! Is there the SLIGHTEST possibility that you will maybe improve other animations of the game as well? For example the animation of soldiers that get hit is just awfull and more laughable than anything else. (bending back and forth like a gummiband) The game would benefit massively from your skill! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shadows are so important. At least give us the damn OPTION to increase the range! There are people out there that have impressive copmuters out there if you didnt notice!

I know the common sense in this forum is that you dont show the modder that you are waiting. However I myself find it strongly motivating to see how eager people are for my work. As long as it stays friendly and shows respect I find it more positive than everything else. In that sense: Eager to see your work OS;) Greetz!

Lord Jarhead - you are a huge benefit to this community! However I found some sounds not really up to par in quality. 1. The minigun of the littlebird sounds a bit underwealming. Also it has the same sound firing in the cockpit view and outside. Also when the fps change the sounds begin to sound really weird in that moment. 2. The jet: Admittedly it sounds really beautiful from the ground! However if you fly it and enter the 3rd person view it actually sounds like theres a jet FLYING BY not like you were sitting in a jet. 3. The jet canon sadly sounds reaaally underwealming=( Better then the original though but really not quite like a jet gun. 4. The tank shots. Somehow the tank shots have a double sound? That sounds really weird....The sound of the artillery however is pretty nice! 5. All silenced weapons seem to sound the same? 6. rocket pods have sometimes a bit strange sound when fired. Like a little puff...sometimes doesnt fit. However JSRS=must Best regards! -
These scopes are top notch. Really. And I find something to improve on most addons but this is really professionally done. Apart from...maybe you look into the holographic dots again, since I got the feeling that they are not PERFECTLY aligned to the weapon axis:P But thats really not that important since you only notice it when you aim straight ahead and look right or left so the red dot appears again in the holograhic sight. I thought about that and there are two ways to approach this: First obviously is ignoring it since the transition is still kind of subtle and and the gras takes over the colour of the midrange textre (as can be seen at the red strokes). Second is simply creating a new logic map for the ground that is chosen. This is simply a question of worktime since its really easy and procedual. As for now I will ignore this problem as it is really subtle. If it appears to concern more people, as stated, there is a way to solve this;) Thanks for the head up! Greetings! -

Now that I looked into it a bit more I think theres something missing before this becomes really usefull. The multipliers as I see it will change the sway all together. But to make weapons different from each other and interesting it would be nice to have something like "sway up left" "sway down" etc. So a weapon may sway up and down more or more to a certain side and so on. The same for the recoil Best regards! -

Now I have some time to answer all the questions^^ @vegeta: Yes you are right. On the other hand I put much effort in pushing this topic and dont feel like abandonning it since has nearly 80.000 views. Also theres important stuff to bring forward to the Devs once the mod is in an appropriate state which I will state at that point. But I will open another topic in the addons section once I got all of Stratis covered and can begin focussing on the details. If it wasnt for university work Id say it would be possible to achieve this goal till end of this month. However finals are coming february and theres lots of lots of work to do. @Greenfist: I am interested in anything that help gathering textures faster so your help is welcome=) Also thanks towards "Das Attorney " and "dancanman"! -

Theres no way to fix that with a midrange texture set. At least not before BIS integrates my suggestion. But...I guess that will never happen. However airports make for about what...5% of the game? Its a big improvement over the rest 95%. Besides that the mod I am working on resovles that problem to a degree since it improves the resolution by such an amount that a new midrange texture is not especially needed anymore. On the other hand: Even the vanilla texture blends over the airport roads. It has just so few details that you dont recognize it.- 477 replies

Midrange texture are a disadvantage for the user. It becomes harder for them to see people. Not the other way around.- 477 replies

This is so important for me too. Your mod is a way towards the Arma that I am looking for. But JSRS and Blastcore and a midrange replacement addon is something that is a must have too. Regarding Blastcore and JSRS - they should not be forced but allowed seeing as a sound replacement is no advantage and blastcore made sure he wont increase smoke effects for smoke grenades. This is so important in the long run. Also I dont know if you are aware of my Midrange replacement addon that is in development, but I hereby offer you the oportunity of a midrange replacement specifically for your used maps. I could make sure that the used terrain is covered and blends over into the unsused at distance. As obvious this would not only add a lot to the game graphic wise but also in terms of camouflage. Indeed - the models are really outstanding! And I dont say that lightly. I checked ALL weapon mods on armaholic and there are some medium to low quality rifles, some big packs with many rifles that pay this amount with lack of quality, some medium quality rifles, and then theres the upper class with you in its ranks. I just have to ask if you heard about LJarheads JSRS sound addon? The first complete release shall be out in 5 days covering stuff like different suonds for indoor/outdoor. Would be really nice if your weapon was covered by his mod since it will be a clear must have as was JSRS for Arma2;) And now even more due to the added features. Best regards!

yes. theres a file with several different plant lod textures in f_plants (or plants_f?) worked 100%. Thats the reason i as thinking about doing the same for infantry greetz

put it in @yourmodfolder/addons/ Thats the way its allways been. Since this is just a rough WIP file I threw in to hear your opinions I didnt put no readme with it. -
Thats funny because I was able to change only the LODs of trees without touching any models=( Anyway: That means WITH THE PERMISSION it would be possible? Best regards!

I tested the camouflages in different terrains. At distance it all comes down to who is darker (at least near fooliage like trees and plants) Sry if I am too insistant but Ill ask again: Is it possible to adjust the LODs seperately to darken only the LODs for distance but not the close up textures? Kindest regards!
