    Commander AI works again too, so give it a go. My best games while playing SP, I've just disabled resistance Ai outright, and had a commanding match between me and the other AI commander. He wins about half the time.

Will be a couple weeks longer before I get to it, but it will get updated.     Is anyone interested in an RHS port, if it still requires CUP Vehicles? Finally finished the download today, and got to looking into what's there for the first time in a year or two. I'd really expected more progress on the blue-for side of things. As it is now, there's just not enough blue units to fill in without using CUP vehicles to help out. It's a shame too, as the Russian side of RHS far outpaces CUP in progress. So with that all said, I'm kind of annoyed with the mod. If I were the only one to ever play it or use it, I wouldn't even bother thinking about it any further until some future updates drop. But if it'd benefit anyone here, I wouldn't mind just dropping the relevant RHS units into my already current CUP vehicles list and remaking the gear list for RHS stuff. Won't use it myself, but then again, I won't be using the ACE stuff either, and I would still like to finish that.

    Everyone should thank Onno from Sari's Dragons for anything I put out. That dude's magicianry on external aid apps is the only thing that lets me get these done with the limited time that I have. Hopefully he'll have the GUI aspects of it done at some point, and can release it at large. It's dead useful for quickly building balanced unit/gear lists.

    goo.gl/KKrnMJ BECTI Sari's edition - Desert Warfare Pack. - Takistan - Zargabad - Sharpur_BAF (For very quick SP/MP games) Uses almost entirely CUP assets, only using a few A3 where necessary. Has the traditional fit and feel of A2 Warfare BE finally. (Even uses A2 like desert post process) Vehicle list is essentially interchangeable with the green islands. (Because of livery selection) Clothing and barracks lists needs adjusting if it'll look right on Cherno, etc. Only bugs I've noticed: - AI doesn't treat CUP artillery as actual artillery, resulting in them firing it like a direct fire weapon (often killing AI arty teams). - Some camps are still slightly off position in some instances (new model). Will adjust cosmetic issues like these in the coming days. - I left a few 3rd party scripts in that I meant to remove. - Mission image probably needs updated. - Parameters aren't balanced for MP or SP by default, yet. - For some reason, weapon accessories (specifically weapon sights), work really erratically in the equipment menu. Sometimes it works, but most of the time, it doesn't. If anyone has any clues, please let me know so I can finally chase that damn bug down. I'll release these on the workshop in the next day or two, and get them up on a more permanent download option aside from that (my domain went up tonight). After this weekend, I'll use next week to wrap up on the green A2 islands, and then move on to RHS. When I'm done with all that, I'll wrap it all up with an ACE3 option.     For a few days? No. Specially when it's more than just downloading. For instance, SSD space (For mods that, again, I already have). And quite honestly, it's more than just the mods at this point. If the mods didn't exist, I'd still take a stand on the fact that you guys encrypt any further fixes and additions benny has made for the mission, and keep it all for yourself, despite the fact that there are a ton of communities and individual SP players that could benefit from them. And all because of your sense of internet pride... can't have that competition now, can you? Fuck that, dude. You guys wanna gain my respect as a player? Release benny's updates to the community instead of the bullshit you're pulling.

    To bring in the new year, is there any chance we could set up a more structured AMA on the Project Argo Subreddit? I feel like it'd give the devs and players a chance to take more of a conversational tone, which will help some people understand what it is you guys are trying to do better, along with giving us the chance to ask more relevant questions.

    If it was just CUP, it'd be fine. 3,657.725 MB of non-cup is what gets me. And the worst of it is, it's mostly all content I already have downloaded. You guys just had to throw it all together into one mod. But it makes it a bigger PITA. On top of that, not all of us live in a metropolis, dude. I'm smack dab in the middle of the US. I pay 75 bucks a month for my internet. And it would take me literal days to download just that one additional modpack for one server that only has 7 dudes on it right now.

    Air drops are fairly useless for attackers on raid, and defenders on clash, especially later in the round. Are there any plans to revisit these bonuses, or even have them variable depending on round progress? Is there an ETA on changing names in-game, and clan tag support? Arma 3 firing drills would be perfect for Argo introduction training, especially with leaderboards already implemented into the missions. Are there plans to use these scenarios? Will any of the between-mission streamlining improvements make their way to Arma soon? Are you guys open to an in depth AMA on reddit at some point? Will we see any new weapons from the DayZ development team make their way to Argo? Do you plan to support community hosted competition until your official platform is live? How do you plan to compensate for the overpowered CQB aspects of grenade launchers without removing them entirely? Metagame's ETA is 2017. Is the leaderboard ETA any sooner? A big problem with argo now is player numbers. One big reason why players are quickly losing interest is that many people only like one gamemode, leaving them with the same individual scenario to play over and over again. When will we get multiple scenario rotations per mode to keep up interest?

    Is there any chance future dev streams/Q&A's can be uploaded to youtube afterwards? Twitch doesn't do variable bit-rate playback, leaving it inaccessible for anyone getting ripped off by their ISP. At the very least, the Q&A transcript would be nice to see. Just spent the last 45 mins loading 15 mins of video that ended up just being the waiting to stream page.

    My team is currently using it as a practice playground occasionally. We've considered going to a few established arma group forums and talking trash, see if we can't get a few competitive scrimmages going. We're all basically just waiting patiently to see what happens, while standing ready.

    I think they have their places, as long as they're properly balanced for their power. You can deny whole lanes with one LMG, even if it doesn't land any kills. But they do need to account for the weight. And in reality, these are weapons made to be unbalanced. IRL, LMG recoil really is quite tame compared to what most people would assume. But that's not all that fun. They need heavier recoil without deployment to keep things competitive. And they need to hinder movement more in CQB, both in movement speed (running speed and horizontal barrel movement) and accuracy while moving.

    Another chiming in to say that the LIM 85 is really OP. It's a run and gun player's wet dream. Short-ish barrel to move around better, very high rate of fire, virtually no recoil in crosshair/hip fire mode, and effectively unlimited ammo for every firefight. Seems like the only players not using it exclusively now are the marksmen, or the noobs that exclusively pick the "sniper" in every game ever.

    Quite honestly, I'd like the new locations a lot more if I had the old locations to break up the same thing over and over and over again. I like the direction of the open level design for the new link and clash modes. But they don't keep me engaged for as many rounds as the previous levels did. I can't really explain why. Also, on link, I noticed that with the open design being played over and over again, players revert to TDM mode once they quickly learn the map and get bored with the same objectives. It's like clockwork. If you play on a Link server and you keep more than half the people between matches, you're guaranteed pure TDM without objective play by the third match. The new Raid map is far better than the previous Raid map, though the previous was passable and still fun. It's, by far, the jewel of this update.

    1. Do you guys have a timeline yet for when you expect to transition engines, or are you taking things day by day until you hit the tech wall in RV? 2. Is there an ETA on the metagame aspect of Argo? 3. You mention that RV isn't necessarily your first engine choice, just that it provided the framework to get to work right away. With that said, and the obvious Enfusion aside, what other platforms have you guys considered? 4. With the talk of supporting the eSports aspect of this game, what is your gameplan regarding leagues/tournaments in Argo? Will Argo have a competition portal within the game? 5. Are you guys planning a "jump" action to replace vault? Running around shin high obstacles is getting old. 6. When will battleye be implemented so that server admins can kick/ban trouble players? 7. BIS has an obviously limited outreach to the competition community at the moment. What do you guys plan to do to rectify that? 8. One of the largest complaints in Argo deals with weapon damage and armor values. With obvious future tweaks aside, have you guys considered a "hardcore" mode similar to battlefield/call of duty to solve the issue? 9. Will Arma 3 Units be expanded to serve teams who play Argo as well? 10. We're already logging into a BIS account to play the game (usually). Are you guys already tracking and storing stats on these accounts, or are you guys waiting until the metagame is complete before you start tracking? 11. With the update, you removed the le Port missions from the Data. What's the goal behind this? It makes sense for official servers to use the new rotation exclusively for testing. But for third party servers and competitive teams, it seems entirely pointless and backwards.

    The version I posted was primarily made to give me a reason to go in and fix all the No Entry errors that had popped up over the last few patches. I haven't really made any more changes than that over Sari's Altis. The only other change I can think of aside from porting and fixing is bumping up the unit bounty by 10% and dropping the town range down by 100m. The AI seem to do fine over bridges, and really in general. The worst issue I see is spawning the town units, which often times end up blown up in the larger cities due to spawning on top of random crap. I'd like to refine the spawning mechanic so it can ensure that it's an open location to spawn. And I'll give it a try, but it may be a bit beyond my skill level.

    Not my call to make. Ideally, that's what I'd like to see happen too though. A year or two back, I approached sari about something very similar, but going as far as creating a "Warfare" specific community site that would also host and hub all warfare flavors. But I have a feeling that he wasn't interested in it for the same reasons I'm not putting anything on github. Not his call. What we really need at this point is for Benny to come and make a concrete decision on mission licensing, so we could move forward with some structure.

    Whether you're running the files on a server, or playing singeplayer on your own, I suggest subscribing to the Steam Workshop submission either way. At least for the recent future. This way, you either have the most up to date version, or you're reminded to download the most up to date version for your server when you get a workshop update. Even since I posted, I've updated a few times to fix various errors or screwups that I missed (Caused). I will continue updating until all APEX assets are ported over and until I can figure out the last damn 'no entry' error.     You might try BECTI: Sari's Edition https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/156917-spmp-becti/page-27#entry2638490 While regular BECTI (And zerty's ed) are very different from WarfareBE, Sari's edit rips (with permissions) many of the scripts directly from the Arma 2 BE mission to port into BECTI.
