I will re-download the Mod again and put it on the server...if I change the clientside back to the Armaholic version it works fine,both have identical files and keys in them.- 16577 replies

if the Mods are the same and the folder name doesn't match then why is it I have the Armaholic version on my server and the PW6 version clientside I cannot join the server.If I change the name of the folder in the CMD line of the server it does not load the Mod because it doesn't read it.- 16577 replies

Can anyone answer me as to why the @Mod folders are named differently..I have now downloaded this update 3 times and still the @Mod folders are named differently as are the keys..the Armaholic download is @RHSUSF and has the older key in it. The version from PW6 keeps the old name and installs its own key I downloaded keys from the RH website and put them in the keys folder but because the @Mod folders are different it is not allowing me to join..the Documention on the RHS website is also incorrect as it states it should be @RHSUSAF instead of @RHSUSF witch is what the Armaholic download is and @rhs_usf3 witch is what the Play with Six Mod is called. I cannot find any definitive answer as to what the @Mod folder is supposed to be named and what exact key is supposed to be used. If anyone has a definitive answer I would greatly appreciate it! Diesel Top folder is Play with Six Bottom Folder is armaholic.. Just trying to figure out why these are different and don't work.- 16577 replies

I still cannot get this to work..have tried everything with different ports with the IP and without the IP still cannot connect. So frustrating. this is my BE cfg RConPassword mypassword RConPort 2306 Got it figured out..since 158 I had to create a "serverLog" profile for my command line to get the "custom" to work for difficulty and inside that is another "battleeye" folder..inside that is another beserver.cfg I had to make sure that was the same as the one in the main server folder. Maybe this will help someone else out. -

I am having an issue getting this ported to Bozcaada...I inserted a teleport script to teleport to a FOB and different areas of the base such as airfield,medical,mainteneance etc but for some reason when I teleport around base it ends the mission..I am thinking that maybe I have it placed wrong in the init. I also have added a parajump script but that works fine. Any help would be appreciated. really like these smaller scale missions. So I have my server set up with Mods and a new command line. My issue is every time I go to join I get the "session Lost" message and get booted. The mods on the server are identical to the mods I have on my PC. I even double checked to make sure the server was updated correctly and my PC was updated correctly. I get these messages: Can't find mission with template name: '', skipping to next mission. No player found for channel 876372160 - message ignored Is this something on my end I need to fix? The 2 things I am unsure about are the Class Missions and the Template..do I need to have something in there and if so what needs to be there. Some of this I haven't seen before so I don't know if this is new with the latest update. Any help would be greatly appreciated!. Thanks for the reply..I thought maybe it had to do with getting the 3rd person view back but am now going through as you stated a mod at a time..it runs with vanilla just fine so am thinking a Mod had to have gotten corrupted someplace..I only use 8 Mods so wont be as bad as a lot of servers I see with 15+ mods..I also still cant get RCon to work but maybe that's for another day..thanks again for the reply..much appreciated! Diesel Edited: I have found the issue..its the VSM Gear Pack that is causing the issue..no matter what I have tried it boots me every time I use it on the server. 2nd Edit..Issue fixed. -
I am trying to create a custom ammo box with Zeus..I can create the ammobox with what I want in it but then need to run a code in the debug console..my question is do I need to exit zeus to run that or just alt tab for it to work? I paste the code in and hit the local exec button but nothing happens..not having a lot of experience with the debug console or zeus wasn't sure if this was the section to ask in..any help would be great. Went in and made sure ports were open for 2461 in firewall took the IP out and just have this now RConPassword mypassword RConPort 2461 Still wont connect. -

I rent the sever and am using the game server IP to connect the port is 2462 The query IP is identical except for the port wich is 2463 This is what I tried RConPassword mypassword RConIP 104.255.64.158 RConPort 2462 -

I am still having issues getting this to work..I have uploaded a new beserver.cfg with this in it. RConPassword mypassword RConIP 127.0.0.1 RConPort 2312 I still cannot connect to Rcon I'm confused as to where I put the actual Server IP in. My server IP and Port are different than whats above so do I replace the above with my game server ip and port? any help would be great..Thanks, Diesel -

I have had my TS through NFO servers ever since A2 and haven't had any issues at all with it..they have game servers as well. I just recently opened up a new game server using Fox Gaming Servers haven't done much on it yet but so far seems pretty decent and the price is very reasonable. I always do my images in an "images" folder...then in the init of the object this setFlagTexture "images\texture.paa"; Make sure you set the flag pole as enable simulation if using the 3d editor and disable damage. Ive had issues with jpeg so I always convert to .paa using texview. Diesel -

Have you tried the "user Texture" in the editor..I know its for facing you but could it be possible to lay it flat? Ive used them for making my own graffiti on walls. Would be neat to include that in an Eden update to be able to make your own lines on roadways and such. Diesel -
whats the best insurgency missions out

Sounds like you are looking for Domination or Invade and Annex...as for Insurgency it depends on what type you want..BMR is the best as far as seeing where you need to go and elimate enemy. But Insurgency by DAP for Stratis is really good and my Favorite by far..no markers on the Map and you need to capture the Enemy Commander to interrogate him to find the next cache..I like it because there are no Markers on the map so it gives it a little bit more realistic feel to it..also has IED's in it. Its definitely not a quick run and gun but more tactical. Diesel -

Have you checked out Duda's "Advanced Slingloading" yet..I believe he has already done all of that.
