    In this case, the view is focused on grass 2m in front of me, but if BIS thinks, that that this will happend if you look through a scope, I guess it's ok. I looked through a scope in real life already, the lines were always the same, no matter where I was looking at. So the only way is turn off depth of field? Oh boy ... Thx for the answer..

  4. God damn I'm too stupid. I only want alive to take care of the civilians all across altis.. I did the same like in the tutorial but I can't see any guys running around when I enter a city. Did you change sth. in the required modules for this feature?? I'm confused edit. nvm, I don't know what I did now, but I see em.. But another question: player options module, is that only for the admin or does every player get the opportunity to set terrain grid and VD??

    From beta testing until now, I can only say: Cheesus Christ ! I wish I've had it in A2. I already told you, if you ever manage to include these buttons for AI Heli control like Fredkatz did, I donate amount X on your accont on the Cayman Islands :)

    Matter of taste yes. They haven't been there all the time and I also removed the ones from dragonfyre. Now I'm forced to use them. I simply find 'em annoying, that's all.. They appear way too often in a firefight( yes that's how it is in real life I know) . I try to find the matching pbo on my own though..

    Controlling AI

    Can somebody plz help me with AI in A3? I loved to command AI in A2 but now, I'm pretty much lost. My Ai always moves in combat pace with raised weapon, they move really slow and they don't obey commands like hold fire and stuff. They're basically stupid as hell.. I'm pretty sure that I'm doing sth. wrong, because they can't be that stupid. How can I tell them to raise/lower weapon and tell em which pace they should use?! Thx for any help

    would it be possible to improve the AI a bit more? Basically right now, they behave like.. I don't know how to say it.. I really loved my ai squad in arma2. Right now, they're only in combat stance, super slow, when a gguy in the squad is injured, everything is broken... They only run around with raised weapon. = playing with AI is no fun at all .. pretty sad.. but we have a GoKart DLC :/

    Ok thx for that. I just thought it might not be working because no units are specified. It was a bit weird, like I was driving out of the base with marshall and got instant shot by AI in the first sector.. And another time it said "soldier XY shot you with .556 ammo? :) .. I have no idea but I'll try it out with the config.. thx for all the infos man

    Ok thx for that... But don't you have to specify the particular class names of units? I remember that I edited the array with several unit class names in arma2. The code you posted, how is actually picking the kind of unit, I mean I don_t see a link to, for example, a sniper or normal rifleman.. like the code you posted is basically the skill set.. I'm talking about this one: asr_ai3_main_levels_units = [ [], // 0: super-AI (only used for testing) [], // 1: sf 1 [], // 2: sf 2 (recon units, divers and spotters) [], // 3: regular 1 (regular army leaders, marksmen) [], // 4: regular 2 (regulars) [], // 5: militia or trained insurgents, former regulars (insurgent leaders, marksmen) [], // 6: civilians with some military training (insurgents) [], // 7: civilians without military training [], // 8: pilot 1 (regular) [], // 9: pilot 2 (insurgent) [] // 10: sniper ]; In there I have to specify the classnames for each skill set, or am I wrong?
  15. My performance was like a dream. Now with latest patch, I got framedrops, super low fps in towns like kavala, other choppers are lagging.. To sum it up, playing is crap right now. Do I have to do that verify game cache thing in steam even if I got a SSD??

    Yeah I know. I used ASR in A2, but the arrays look a bit different now... would you mind sharing your config file for ASR? And btw. , why in particular class regular? just as an example or is your mission auto picking regular setting?? I understood thee damage multiplier, it's nice.. Are you planning an altis version too? I really don't like stratis, I only play it because of your mission :)

    What's up with the skill setting? they seem to be super heroes :) .. Whats even a good skill and accuracy for my server config.? I've also seen a parameter in your mission regarding the damage. what's the best value for that?

    Is there any config out there, for a solid AI setting regarding skill and accuracy? Like default Blufor and Opfor would be great. I actually don't get the array :/ What do you recommend for the server setting? Just found out that it's available for A3, loved it in A2

    Hello there.. Maybe I'm to stupid, but where do I recruit AI in the base? I can't find any option for that.. Another thing, I played a couple of days ago, my buddy died, I revived him, and he was back to default slot gear layout after was alive again?
  21. Guys I'm a little bit confused and not that familiar with A3.. So the AiA standalone includes the maps plus Units from A2? So i basically need that, cup weapons, joint rails and that's it?? What about that High quality pack?? I really like to check out the old stuff in A3, cause now I finally got a computer that can run it :) .. Pretty sad that you stop working on it
  22. hm.. thats weird.. why dont they spawn for me? Did you edit any of the modules, like spawn range or anything else??? I picked those modules already and everything seems to start up.. but no civs in the zones.. no idea
  23. That's exactly what I did, but no civs spawn in.. I did not touch the faction box.. it's on CIV_F I guess.. I teleported around but nothing spawns in.. But I keep on trying.. just need a break from the editor for today :) .. I can fiddle around and find out myself, maybe others have probs and I've seen comments below videos on YT complaining about outdated stuff.. But It's the guys that always complain :/
  24. Sweet, that was the problem.. Now it works.. But no AI civs are spawning in now :/ Jesus.. I will fall into the editor-limbus again because of you guys :)
  25. ok.. just wanted to check function of each module .. I am next to Syrta, placed at marker that covers the town, put civ placement and civ population on the map, added the name of the marker in TAOR marker field.. when I test mission it says I need to add locations for the civ module. I pretty much did the same like in the tutorial
