Hi guys, I have a few quetions : 1) what is the lastest available stable version 2) is it compatible with ARMA2 CO (ARMA2 + AO both owned on Steam) 3) I'd like to try ARMA 2 chernarus Apocalypse series on a dedicated server running on my machine in order I can respawn (the COOP mission alows to respanw on a free unused slot only if it's running on a dedicated server) 4) how can I select which mods to be "on" or off" on the server requirments system? I have some problems with some missions not ending like mission 10 , after i found the EVR weapon, the HIND IS KILLED, THE tunguska is destroyed by Michale and nevertheless the mission do not end. Same problem I have in AWAKENING FROM HELL, after the AP NEWS regarding the EMP which killed 4723 civilians etc etc, the screen remain BLACK for ever.

hi all, I know this has been discussed many times in the forum but I would just like to share my toughts which I'm sure are same of of many "old school players" who started to play this beatiful game series years ago. And the reason of this is quite simple: observation, observing how much people just downloaded RHS mod, the forum section/thread of ARMA3 pictures&comments is full of screenshot of people playing arma3 with RHS. When I started to play this game back in 2002 with OFP it was such a mind blowing experience being able to explore the enviroment and being able to use lets say " real weapons", real vehicles, and wearing real uniforms of course with some limitation. I played OFP, ARMA, ARMA2 and then when ARMA3 came out it's been such a delusion, a delusion caused by the choice of developers to create a fictional game with fictional weapons, helicopters, guns etc etc. Most of old players I am quite sure they loved the realism which was reached by ARMA2 expecially with mods like ACE, but ARMA3 for me is a total delusion becuase of developers choice of NON realism. I really hope that Bohemia will reconsider this choice and will get back to roots, ARMA4 should use actual modern equipment instead of fantasy weapons and stuff Just my 2 cents.

Despite many efforts from some of you I am not gonna buy it al all, arma3 has no authentic vehicles, airplanes and chopers or weapons. Maybe just a few but the majority are fake/fictional such as the A-10D, what is that? Comon, and the new F18? These fast movers will never exist , the a-10c will soon end its life and there is no replacement or upgrades, and the f18 already is semi-new with the F/A 18 superhornet. What about the faction? Iran in Greece ?Wearing super-alien-technological suits??....it's not gonna happen. With the introduction of futurustic scenario ARMA series has been totaly killed.

btw the Asus has a higher resolition and it is an IPS panel, I'd go for the asus.

I also only play DCS and arma , you should read some reviews before choosing :)

I am not going to give BI not a single more euro untill they release a new GAME....arma3 disappointed mayn of us including myself, only BLIND people can't figure out/they don't want to , that a big part of ARMA community is very upset and pissed off because of a FAILED GAME. BIS knew very well that the entire futuristic shit has not been WELL ACCEPTED by the community, they're well aware and despite it they keep asking for MONEY. Well dear Sirs, fuck you!!! The path they took (with futuristic scenario) and expensive useless DLC has already broken the community.

We poor "idiots" paid 50 euro for ARMA3 which is a futuristic crap shit, with a stupid nonsense island and with "fantasy" factions such as iranian and bullshit like that....the ARMA series have been completely ruinned, and out there we have this SUPERB VB3 ENGINE with all these beatiful helicopeters, airplanes, vehicles ad and weapons!!! HONESTLY ARMA3 is the worst ever created game of all series since the lovely Operation flashpoint. Altis is just a ridiculouse terrain with all due respect, we need a real MILSIM . I will not give to BI one more single euro untill they change the game with all all REALISTIC vehicles/weapons name!!!

Having a lot of problems and difficulties as well to complete this mission...I'll give it another try tonight...

Can't wait to play with that , but I think a proper colder and snowy scenario is necessary for this mod :)

Hi Chairborne, thanks for your comments, I am glad to not be the only one who don't like arma3 at all, you have expressed much better than me the toughts about the so called "futuristic" choice made by BI. If BI is not going to remake this game in a proper way, it's gonna die very soon.

Hi Maio, I am sorry for the bad words used, I didn't intend to offend anyone of the developers or of this great community, I am very convincted that with the choice they made to switch to "futuristic era gameplay" BI has lost thousands of gamers and buyers and potential buyers as well. The game in my opinion need to be totally changed by switching back to actual/present era, without this there cannot be a milsim nor bohemia interactive can pretend to call this game a "the best military simulator available" , this is not a simulator at all, it's just a concept/fantasy game that has nothing to do at all with the previous great games such as OFP and ARMA2. Not to mention the choice of the terrain and of the faction: it's not going to happen at all in the next 500 years to have IRANIAN army on an European island, it's just ridiculous. All in the game looks so ugly, the vehicles and helicopters seem to be just TOYS. Just a question for you as I couldn't find any info about it but it has certainly been widely discussed over the time: Why BI changed their path with this futuristic/conecpt art game rather than continue with the "tradition"? Was it a matter of royalties regarding the usage of present weaponary or what else? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, After several years i bought a new computer with a new brand hardware in it and to be more precisely an i5 quadcore, 2 x 5850 ati assembled in a crossfire x system, a raid0 of 2 wd re3 hardrives , 4 gigs corsair ram cl8 ,a good corsair psu 650w and a full hd monitor 1920x1080 etc etc I bought my arma2 dvd installed it, set all the configurations to very high,resoluition at 19201080 and thought to play a smooth game....but it really sucks...!!!After a few mins of gameplay the graphs starts flickering and flashing as if i were at a RAve party with all the strobos and flashes going on and off continusoyl.. I have the last ati catalyst 10.1 instlalled, on a win7 64bit O.S... Your advises would be higlhy appreciated as i'd love to play this game without problems.. Do you think that basis on my above mentioned specs can i play the game at the maximum configuration?' How many fps am i supposed to get from my sistem? Thank you very much guys, i am waiting for your precious advises!

The question is quite simple: I have seen that on some servers only members of a specific clan are enabled to flight chopers or driver specific veicheles. As I'd like to modify my domination coop mission by doing the same as above explained, do you have any idea how can I manage to do that by allowing only my clan mates to use choopers?? Thanks in advance.

do you guys have the audio when giving comands to your units like move to, get in etc etc? Because i dont hear any of the voice comands present in the original game.

Thanks for the info guys, by the way I was asking how you do manage to make the videos by using thouse ingame camera effects and slowmotions and most of all without the hud displayed in the videos. I well know i can tae the ingame footage by using fraps or other programs, thanks for the advise though, but i dont know how to make all of thouse camera effects etc etc. Awaiting yours.:)
