1. Arma 2 Combined Operations (+BAF and PMC) - Longest lasting and probably the funnest game I've played 2. S.T.A.L.K.E.R games - Great story and amazing game play, love it 3. Halo games - I love the story, one of the best sci-fi stories 4. Fable games - Fun, and funny, even though it lacks in the RPG game play element. Great character customization and progression too 5. CoD 4: Modern Warfare - Great shooter, last great CoD 6. Assassins Creed games - Story is interesting and the conspiracy back story is too. Not too mention addictive game play 7. Aliens versus Predator: Gold Edition (1999) - Amazingly fun and scary shooter based on two greatest movies ever 8. Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind - Great example of a good RPG, addictive fun 9. Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - Same as above, except it lacked in RPG elements and sort of became an FPS 10. Mass Effect- Amazing RPG, truly. Perfect story too 11. Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butchers Bay (+Assault on Dark Athena) - Good story and background for the movies and simply fun game play 12. Dead Space- Scary as hell with a nice story backing it 13. Half Life games - Well told story and near perfect game play 14. Far Cry 2 - Simply fun and hard to put down 15. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Rather fun multiplayer for this Modern Warfare 2 age of games -

I am having an issue where the game will crash during an explosion every now and again, a lot of times when the main cannon of an armoured vehicle fires, or when a car or vehicle is blown up. Most recently, however, when I detonated a satchel charge to destroy a Stryker. I am thinking it has something to do with sounds, and possibly a conflict since I have a Soundcard, but the new Nvidia GT 240 I recently bought added somekind of HD sound. This may be the problem? If so, how can I disable the Nvidia sound? Worth nothing, in dxdiag under sounds, it seems to only mention my sound card and not the Nvidia HD Audio or whatever. Patch 1.55 (Used Beta patch, but same issue)

About the stalking, you could make the AI Predator (If possible, of course) stand nearby the units and perhaps taunt or make his eyes flash green like in the first two movies. He could have perhaps a 40%-65% chance of attacking with each encounter, and if he is heavily out numbered or out gunned, could flee and come back again. Maybe make the Predator take some shots to just scare the humans, but not kill, just lower his accuracy with ranged weapons every now and again. If that could be possible it would be very close to how the Predator acts in the movies. Having him instantly attack humans makes the game end very quickly. -

I would prefer something snowy and mountainous. Think like a fictional modern Korean conflict with terrain based on North Korea. -

What are vehicles (Tracked, Wheeled, etc) under in the .pbos? And also, does the aircraft.pbo include both rotor and fixed wing? -

What could it be? EDIT: Updated first post on version used/using. I am also using JSRS for vehicle sounds and environment, which would include explosions right? Should I try removing it? -

Sure, checking Device manager it has 'NVIDIA High Definition Audio' listed 4 times along with my Soundcard and some Microsoft High Definition Audio Device. Under Sound in Control Panel, my Soundcard is the only listed with status working or checked, High Definition Audio Device is listed, but says not plugged in, the Nvidia one apparently isn't mentioned there. Maybe this doesn't have to do with my issue, but seeing as the game freezes up or crashes when an explosion happens, I would think it would have something to do with sound. -
Is BMPT what you mean? If so that would be awesome if Russia is ever updated/brought to OA standards.

If it was Cold War era, then Russia would be good because there would be reason. If it is modern, however, then China should be the invaders, since they have more reason to. -

@BangTail I think latest OA beta patch fixed that, it has something to do with high view distance. -

New content of course (SAS in BAF would be great), critical bug fixes, and a bit more optimization in the engine, mainly when in large towns. -
I think seeing Russian soldiers defending the Kremlin from aliens would be pretty damn cool, you never see these types of movies shot outside the USA.
