  2. well i want the fired fx you see in the pic above, so it cant be a grenade launcher, has to be a rocket launcher.
  3. just had this made by Howells - a Schermuly, or star cluster in yank-speak gonna make it a single use handheld rocket launcher, with flare spawning at top of its arc
  4. pic of T223 change made to NI Arms HK33 (thanks to Toadie2k and his team for sharing it with us) thanks also to wld427 for prompting me to use the models i forgot i actually had! and for advice on the real weapon characteristics thanks to vilas for his original hk33 from his west weapons pack - updated texture to older fire selector pattern (thanks to vilas) - fixed small issues with connectivity of parts in weapon - animated trigger - added new bullets to mag, and extended it to 40 round size - added small rock motion to mag reload anim - created separate mag model - removed redundant mounts etc, - realigned muzzle flash - new config - rebuilt geometry so we can now make SEALs like this guy
  5. if you are looking for real world inspiration in terms of named locations perhaps take a look at "Krong Preah Sihanouk" - the area around sihanoukville, one of the main ports of entry for weapons coming from abroad, destined for the PAVN enclaves in southern cambodia. Koh Rong island to the west of it is probably suitable your beach looks a little bit like Sok San would have done before it got gentrified

  7. we left in a test speedvalue in the huey config. which is what causes it. well re patch, if something comes up that requires a patch, then all of the changes to date will be released together, but i don't see this as likely, as a release knocks our team out of the modding loop for about 2 weeks.

    that beret model just needs a little retooling above the eye, move some of the front left points forward and up to create a flattened void space beneath where a badge can sit. you could even lower some of the back points behind that "peak" to create a little wave, where the beret front rises up and over the harder badge material. i could do that for you if you need it done. just send me the model in pm and i'll have a go at fuckin it up lol.

  13. new PAVN crew - split PAVN air crew from Transport/ Armor crew - added parachutes to jet pilots - new wearable gogggles - new black crew hats and crew hats w/ goggles - renamed everything in displayname PAVN (not NVA) - artillerymen / AA crews to follow once we have that russian helmet - jet pilot flight suits needs work pics Pilots Heli crew Tank crew Truck crew

  18. some pics of the rescued M37b 3/4 ton Dodge truck it CLEARLY needs a reskin - any budding texture artists please make yourselves known! we had to debin this, as the original is lost in the mists of time. what you see is the first pass at it - see below for some dev ideas... working physx, lights, exhausts, dynamic crew animations, hitpoints and damage/destruct anims working mirrors and windshield wipers, new animated dashboard dials and fuel warning light (thanks pook!) animated doors and door handles, crew move about, and keep their weapons to hand working brake lights, tail lights, beams, flare and smoke throw options, and new driver model, with field cap. so what is next for this oldster?

  20. the osprey books i bought also show us correct dress for PAVN crewmen we have just imported the black russian crew hat, added a commander version with goggles, and we're bringing together the green 68 uniform and the daccong sandals we had. no more cdf camo tank crews! oh and we just bought this model as it was a key weapon missing from our inventory - thanks to imager6 for the donation that facilitated this purchase.
  21. this is how far i got - furry hands - check - helmet in ass - check - holster shadows on belt - check looking promising though! Razorback to the rescue... I feel like mickey mouse with all the brooms going mental, just as the sorceror gets home... more pics once he's finished.

  23. just making a quick appeal for help - if anyone has experience porting units from arma 2... or making from scratch... we could use a hand to make some new PAVN pilots like these two: now the leather jacket and black boots already exists in arma 2 samples: and the russian pilot helmet too (looks something like what is seen here) we have the tan trousers in our NVA units so the pilot on the right is a frankenstein job - need to assemble him from the parts however the second pilot flight suit needs making from scratch... any takers out there willing to pitch in? I'm importing a whole air force of vehicles for them...
