    Hey man, Great to see that smg. thank you for sharing your work! If I may offer some suggestions: 1. the top proxy seems a bit to high on the rail (mount an aco and it's not flush with the rail). 2. too much recoil 3. no sound with suppressor. (I know it's a dev build issue, but you can define the suppressor sound yourself and use standard bis sounds where you replace .wav with .wss) 4. the back sight seems either too large or the eye memory point needs adjusting as aiming down the ironsights does not align back with front sight. Other than that, it's looking good, and I look forward to future updates. :) Thanks again!
  2. As of at least last two or three devbuilds support module has not been working for me. I asked anyone to confirm it in the devbuild discussion but noone did. At least now I know more people have problems with it.

  5. Let me ask again: can someone confirm that the support module does not work as of 2 recent updates? I used to have no problem calling support, but now I get no such option in the menu (0 then 8 gives me blank menu). The support module is organized as usual: avatar synched to support requester which is synched to support provider and that in turn synched to a helo.
  6. Cam anyone confirm that Support modules (helo transport and attack) are broken? They used to work just fine in a mission I have but since the latest update I don't get the option to call on these.

    WOW. Im grinning right now! :D Thank you. Cant wait for the release. Looks absolutely great. Does your getting it to work with BIS rifles mean the sight can be mounted on any custom weapons? Btw, good job on that.
  8. Yes, I agree, reload sounds are very low now. I increased their volume in the config for a custom weapon and that seems to have helped, I think. Still, my biggest gripe is with footstep sounds, which are very soft. When you switch to 3rd person you have hardly any audio feedback that you are walking. As a result, I crank the global volume up and then when I shoot the explosion is deafening, which can get quite uncomfortable.
  9. You are right about the hk417 camo suppressor: must be some interference with my addons. As for cqb attachments, I was thinking of microCCO (e.g. this one http://www.aimpoint.com/products/all-products/product-singleview/product/Micro%20T-1/). I see you edited your post about the zoom. To be precise, by "aiming mode" I meant when in first person you single-click right mouse button to switch to ironsights/optics view (not: press and hold to get zoomed in). In your eotech and aimpoint the zoom kicks in already when you switch to that "aiming mode," and then some more when you hold the right mouse button. I guess you got what i meant, but still I just wanted to be a little bit clearer.
  10. Well, I take it you are being sarcastic here. Funny thing is there's a really easy way for BIS to fix suppressor sounds: the sounds are there, and it's just the matter of renaming .wav extensions into .wss in weapon configs. Come on guys! Pretty please :) Oh, and the small settlement next to Kamino is quite nice.
  11. Firstly, thank you for continuing support of the addon and for your hard work! Top quality, as usual. I did notice one bug though: suppressor sounds are all working as they should apart from HK417 desert camo suppressor, which has no sound (gun-metal suppressor works fine, though). I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but have you considered eliminating zooming effect from aimpoint and eotech when you switch to aiming mode? Default BIS holo and aco have no zoom, and I personally think that's a good idea as you don't have narrowed FOV. Otherwise, yeah, outstanding job as usual. :) Oh, and let me use this opportunity to gently ask you about more attachments, especially something nice for cqb weapons. ;)
  12. hey Al. I've had the same problem with missing sound in another addon Ive been working on. If your config references sound files, replace the .wav extension with .wss. You are all set if you are using custom sounds. It's likely that the ditching of .wav format is here to stay so the change in the config seems necessary. I was hoping today's dev build would bring back suppressor sounds, but that's not the case.

  14. There should be a way to assign the weapon as a handgun as that's what Robert Hammer did for his A2/OA smg pack. Unfortunately, aside for basic updates, I do not have much time to tinker with this addon at present. For now you should try and put the weapon into the sniper's backpack along with several magazines. Btw, I'll be releasing an update with working reload sounds after bis sort out the new sound system.

  16. Could someone clarify whether weapon sounds are just plain missing or have some of them been renamed. So far only suppressed sounds were gone but Ive just found out that this sound, "A3\sounds_f\weapons\MX\mx-st-full-1.wav," which I use for a weapon mod, is now gone. Or is it?
  17. I'm a bit confused. Do addon makers need to make adjustments to bring back the sounds of their weapons? I was under the impression that some sounds were just missing, and they would be duly brought back. E.g. in the mp7 I do not define the suppressor sound and it's correlated directly to the type of suppressor defined for the weapon. I also noticed that the sound "A3\sounds_f\weapons\MX\mx-st-full-1.wav," which I use for another weapon, is missing. Has it been renamed by any chance? Apologies for diverting your thread. Let me know and Ill continue this conversation over pm.
  18. A lot of weapon sounds are missing, but they warned us about that. Now, what I do not like in new sounds is the compression that's been applied to speech. When the characters talk in game the sound reminds me of a heavily compressed audio file. I don't know the right terminology to describe this, but I hope you see what I mean.

    The eotech looks fantastic! Just one tiny request (reminder): if possible, please remove the zoom while using it (naturally, preserving the zoom for magnifying optics). Finally, are you planning to release incremental updates or one big update when all the sights are remodeled? I wouldn't mind the incremental updates ;)
