    Personally disagree, heartbeat sound would be very unimmersive, while heavy breathing in my opinion is spot on. When I run a lot i HEAR my heavy breathing a lot ;), not my heartbeat.

    Tested it... awesome! I love how you slow down when fatigued a lot, but i can already see how many people will say that now they can't run a lot and it sucks etc. Edit: Although... i suppose simple jogging is exhausting a bit too much.(testing now) After 600-700m i see blackening of the screen... hmm tested light rifleman. Naked guy: 2km jogging and still able to sprint, nice. Missile specialist: 300-400 meters, blackening of the screen. Indeed jogging slows down after a while. I love what you did! ^^ Maybe jogging without total exhaustion should be possible for a little bit longer.

  4. Slammer now can be destroyed by two RPG's to the front... a bit easy isn't it? :P I wouldn't mind if the front of tanks would be impenetrable by anything other that Titan-type missile. Although I know: WIP :). Tested with AI RPG soldiers. Edit. When aiming myself i need to use more that 2 rpgs... damn AIs are accurate. Edit. I've managed to destroy T-100 ONCE with 1 RPG then with 5... it seems I was lucky(targeted the most vulnerable point maybe?).

  6. Finished, didn't have any problems with bugs :). Very very nice campaign :P.
  7. Currently after Wetwork and Death Valley mission. Didn't notice anything wrong so far. Pleasantly surprised with the campaign :). Good work, although some more casual conversations would be nice in Camp Maxwell :).

    Just FYI you can destroy a tank now with 2000 rounds from ah9 :). It destroys stuff like crazy. (dev branch)
  9. GPS would be useful simply for navigation through tough spaces... because NOW unfortunately the drivers view in tanks simply sucks :P. Furthermore, when I am in third view I can use GPS ;].

    RPG doesn't have AA :). It has HE missiles and you are not able to lock them.
  11. To be honest I hope they will not go into direction - one shot - one explosion, but instead they will make certain "zones" in vehicles bigger so it would be easier to destroy them(as we don't have proper sabot simulation). As an example I've shot sabot to the main gun in AA tank, NOTHING.
  12. Amen guys! I would gladly sign that petition! Thank you DnA for response, it was great to read. Although personally i am bit disappointed with the release, i have to say that BIS has great developers who feel simply honest but bounded by harsh reality(for example: lack of programmers and time :P). I wish you guys that your plans will come true for your and mine sake :). I will try to support you although i am short on money :p.
  13. Cool improvements in tanks, back armor is now definitely less resistant. Now... let's improve the front one ;) so smaller rounds like 30mm would not penetrate it:>(AA armor vs tank). Would be nice if RPG's and NLAW also would NOT penetrate front armor.

    Well, i personally like the T-100, although I agree it needs finishing. Coaxial gun and those soldier sticking from underneath the gun.

  17. It's all great, but IF they will remove them from action menu then we need some kind of signal or info if the gear is up, or down, what's the status of flaps, etc.

    Imo they should definitely improve medical system and limit turning speed in some poses(like prone). I like new optics in tanks(new optics in other vehicles would be also nice), but still waiting for coaxial gun for T-100(i hope it will get it). Anyway, i trust that Arma 3 will improve and they will not be afraid to go into realism(so some things will be a bit harder to learn or use). Anyway, i think they've focused before release mostly for graphics and accessibility because they knew that us fans would buy it anyway and new(bie) players would mostly look at graphics :| , and after release they would focus on improving the authentic/realistic part of Arma. At least I hope so :P. Anyway, GL BIS and be brave! :P

    Zephyr vs Asraam

    Does anyone know what is the difference between those two AA missiles? I see that Asraam is a bit faster and supposedly it should be short range(is it? it seems to lock at the same distance as Zephyr)... but is there any difference in flares resistance? Damage? Etc. Thanks.

    I can only imagine situation when people will say: I'VE SHOOT HIM 6 TIMES AND HE LIVED!? :P Although I'm all for any kind of simulation of anything :P(tanks, choppers, ballistic vests etc)

    Showcase Review

    I feel that the showcases are there because something has to be there. They feel rushed, done because they have to be done. Without a soul, atmosphere... although i have to say i've got big hopes for the campaign. A person responsible for it made some GREAT campaigns for Arma(look for Operation Cobalt or Blood on the Sand)
