  3. Sorry to pick this up again, but it hasn't been answered, and I think it's a vital question. In a recent mission, we had a mortar team with two people. Either the backpack radio replaces the mortar tripod carried by the team leader, or they have no long range ragio at all, which is crucial for a mortar team to have. May I propose an inventory item with an appropriate heavy weight to compensate ?

  7. I've found a peculiar problem with createDiaryRecord: If you call it several times with the same subject and section, it will add entries to an already existing entry in the briefing. However, this rule is broken if the record is created in init.sqf before time starts running. Then, subsequent createDiaryRecords with the same name will cause a new entry to be created. This is true for Arma 2 and Arma 3. Is this intended behavior ?

    It's gonna be compatible, the outward appearance is the same. I did drop the hierarchical filters, though, because I found them not to be that useful in the end. It did not allow for mostly identical briefings with just a few alterations based on, for example, groups or affiliation. So, the common case where several groups have nearly identical briefings but slightly different tasks would not be handled in a satisfactory fashion.

    This one, no. But I just finished V2.0 that is, and also has the ability to update the briefing records. I'm currently implementing the Arma 2 support for it, then I'll release it. Probably next week.

You know that lightning always takes the shortest route, so it's totally unrealistic to hit the tank, it should hit the tower in the front that's much higher
  11. I just tried updating tags on a mission I published on Steam Workshop, and even though the Workshop lists the item as "updated", the tags are not. I know there is a ticket for it, but it is marked as resolved, which it isn't. Last update on the ticket was yesterday, so maybe it's not in the dev branch yet ? Could any dev shed some light on it ?
  12. Either it doesn't work, or broke in a recent update. I tried to update tags, but it didn't update, even though the workshop page lists the items as updated

I read the whole thing as more of an "We're resuming normal operation on 6. January" kind of thing, and hey, usually I am labeled as "hater" or "whiner" ;)

    Yes, but why ? Placing the userconfig in Arma 3\userconfig\bwa3 would solve that issue. This is after all the usual place for user configs

    I have a problem with the mod, which is related to the userconfig: I usually install mods for Arma 3 into my "My Documents" folder since that allows me to keep game and mods on different disks. Unfortunately, BWMod searches the userconfig file in @bwa3\userconfig instead of the normal Arma 3\userconfig, which makes it impossible to install the mod anywhere else but the game's directory, not even a subfolder of the game. It would be great if it would be possible to move the userconfig to it#s usual place so the mod can be installed anywhere. Other than that, great mod! Looking forward to make Bundeswehr missions!

  19. I've got Arma Tactics on my Xperia Z1, and it used to work fine. Now, after the update to Android 4.3 has been released, I can still start the game, but instead of the 3d graphics in the main menu, I get some transparent polygons, and nothing else.   20. Ok, this isn't a new problem, it seems, since it's present in Arma 2 too: Is it a known problem that JIP into a disabled unit is not possible when the respawn type is "SIDE" ? In this case, you join as a spectator.

    Again: in Vanilla Arma, the tail rotor does not make damage. So you either your shortcut isn't quite as vanilla, or you have copied mods into the Arma data folder. And no, it's not been implemented in any expansion at all. You are running with mods.

  23. No, you can not add objects afterwards, sorry. The camera uses the bulldozer keys. Make sure to change the keys from their original mouse move bindings, otherwise it won't work.

    My major gripe with the new content is that you lack the "identification"... like, with an AK, you immediately know "Russia", and an M4 is US. An M1A1 is a US tank... Slammer ? It looks like an israeli tank, but it supposedly a US tank.... And who the heck is CSAT ? Iranians ? No "Allahu Akbar" Iranians, though, but technocratic Iranians... I guess the scenario is too detached from reality, which is why people want the "known" factions and equipment back (Arma 2 content FTW). I guess all this stuff still needs some time to sink in. Once you can say "It's a Pawnee" and no longer say "There's a Littlebird", it's going to be better.
