After playing a full coop night with the new Stamina system, as opposed to single tryouts in the editor on the dev branch, I feel that I can finally summarize my thoughts about it. Gameplay: The system has negligible effect on gameplay, I found it hard to see the big difference from playing on the days prior to the Fatigue system, and now. The fact that you can jog forever kills an important aspect of the game, encourages reckless behavior, and counters group effort. Transparency: The Stamina bar is anything but transparent. A line within a line, that extends, and changes colour and shape - all these are way too many indications for a single UI element. Any UX expert could have noted that it's a bad representation of something rather simple to convey. It's cluttered, confusing, and fails to deliver the objective of transparency. I'm not a complete idiot and I still struggle to understand what the hell this bar is all about. And the cherry at the top: the mountain icon, indicating that you are moving uphill. Isn't the fact that I see a mountain in front of me enough to convey that? What next? An icon for a weapon indicating that I'm carrying a weapon? An icon of a car indicating that you are riding in a vehicle? It's just plain ridiculous to the point of insulting the player's intelligence. Also, the whole bar turns up immediately with every movement, it's distracting and annoying, at least add some hysteresis mechanism to turn it on only after some continuous movement. I thought that removing the Fatigue system is a bad idea, and I still do, but I thought the Stamina replacement might be something we can live with, but now after playing a complete night with it, in several different missions, I think that it's a disaster. At first I thought that maybe outside the BI forums I'll find some support of the new system. However, the general consensus on reddit, related youtube videos, even on Steam(!) is very much against the new system. I really don't understand who benefits from it. Arma 3 has taken a huge step back. I don't know what on earth BIS is going through, but it's not good. Not good. I just hope that Fatigue will be the last victim of whatever is going on in the company.

I'm getting on my server Warning Message: Addon 'asr_ai3_main' requires addon 'A3_Characters_F_Mark' ? Is that a problem that was introduced in the official Arma 3 hotfix that was released a couple of hours ago? Nothing else changed. Edit: If anyone else getting that, the "mark" DLC was missing after the hotfix.

"About" section: It appears that lower case 'i' letters are displayed as capital. It doesn't seem like the font design since in the editor it looks in lower case as one would expect.

I had a player that said he can't connect to the server when he used -filePatching. If that player is gonna play Zeus, his settings will not be in effect, right? What can be done?

Uploading only now a mission that was livestreamed on BIS official twitch channel a year ago. that was the most exciting mission I ever played in all my OFP/Arma career Don't miss it!

Don't know if you changed anything, I sure didn't, but 'Apply' works now and sends an email. Suggestion - Allow adding a "join by clicking" code to Skype.

Robalo, I can't find this parameter on the Arma 3 Startup Parameters Wiki page. Maybe you mean -filePatching?

It says the application was sent. Regardless of the problem, is it sent to the email of the account that created the page on purpose? I think it's better to assign it an email of its own, or use the contact email. More flexible that way and I'd imagine groups having recruitment officers that are not necessarily the same people who create the page.

Uploading an image (any image) bug: The image pixel dimensions and file size is validated only once per file. Attempting to re-upload a file that once failed validation will not display the reason of failure until another file is attempted to upload, even if the same file was edited to meet the pixel or size requirements.

Also - "Read more" button doesn't change to "Read less" after clicking it.

Well, a lot of groups have age restriction. Korneel, what about lower case support in the unit header? I tried to apply but it didn't send anything. I suppose it should use the contact email? Edit: "Contact unit" works like a charm, though.

How about support for lower case letters in the squad's name? I don't want to look like we are the Central Intellegence Agency and the only way we can avoid that is by using a lowercase i on [CiA] :) I suppose we are not the only group who faces such difficulty...

Any luck with fixing this issue? Happened to me on Stable, in Altis. -
Also tried to change one youtube videos URLs but it gave some blunt red error and didn't register the change. Maybe a problem with any change, and not only with the youtube part.

Unit clan tag has verification for only letters and dashes, that run only when submitting the registration. Better switch verification to the first stage, where the clan tag is set.

For heavens sake, let us keep the current fatigue system, at least as an option! Please! Casual coop player here, nothing fancy.

Yes, I'm having the exact same issue. Gunfire sounds stops (even MG and auto-cannon of vehicles), explosions and sonic cracks remain unaffected. Happened with no other mods on Altis. -
