@Neo, About firedNear, already on it. But I use fired instead. The reasoning is, if you're firing, then you're are in contact. And the group leader will reset "inContact" variable every 10 secs. Havent tested this one yet, but the logic is coming in bit by bit. -

About the logic, sorry I don't have any fool proof concept yet. For now I'm trying to simulate a platoon, so 3-4 linked squad will communicate together. I haven't gone deep yet, but thanks for the input, because honestly I just think about infantry combat and totally forgot about vehicles. It's small enough it should be fine I think. It makes mission making easier. As for the end user that's not making mission, I think it's small enough so it should be fine. -

New Update: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ouymeu46b7sqtq/test_cent_sqdlink.Stratis.7z Change log: I've changed the supporting squad to go to the calling group leader position, with SAD waypoint. After they completed the waypoint, they should resume their original waypoint This scenario only taken into consideration of 1 squad in distress and 1 supporting squad. So to simulate lets say a platoon, I need to figure a sound logic first. Who should go to support, all linked squads or just one? Should it even call for help? So that's on my To do list -

Hi, have you found how to organize the briefing? as in the title should be Situation, Mission, Execution and Signal in that order? Well, I just found out that when you create the module, you need to group it in reverse order. So you actually have to group Execution, Mission, Situation to Signal, in that order -
where is _m++? I think that's your problem... that's why _m never get pass 1

I cant remember it was BIS that make fun of CM, but I do remember us (as in BIF users) making fun of them... So yeah, what goes around comes around. And I was guilty for that also

I thought the paid user addon thing is that BIS are the one that will be paying the addon makers... not the end users. I'll read it up again... But I think he also said they will make an official announcement later, so what we think now are just rumours and speculation... [edit] After re-reading it again, it might be along the line of, me making a mission/mod -> the BIS make a deal with me -> BIS sell those mission/mod and I got a percentage... think dayZ/take on mars which was originally a mod... and that is just my 'speculation'

If you run the game using mod line (mod = modB;modA.. etc) then you cannot use the in game expansion menu. So, you first you must remove the mod line from launch property, then enable your mods in game -

I don't get what you're trying to do, but if you want a value that is in between you may use something like so: (_someValue > 5 && _someValue < 10) so only the value 6,7,8,9 are valid(true) -

If only they made it like ARMA 2 beta patch system, where the beta patch is a mod that can be enabled/disabled at any time. Since now BIS use steamworkshop, maybe BIS can now release their 'mod' for players to download, and they can update the mod via steam like any other mods on steamworkshop. Perhaps they can also test steamworkshop functionality while at it... But I don't know the inner workings of steamworks/workshop, so it may not be feasible/possible. -
I found that the civilians still speaks English, unlike the FIA or AAF that speaks Altian English

Just write it up... If the devs think it can be done and the end result is worth the effort, they might make it happened. If you keep it to yourself, it's already confirmed it wont reach them

I like how the civilians got random headgears when they spawned. Can it be expanded to uniform/clothing as well? And not just for civilians, but military units as well... because we like varieties :D

I like the sway the way it is. It makes the hold breath feature a necessity. Unlik in arma 2, I never need to use it. Now I really do.

The firefight is much more immersive now... Thank you BIS. Now we need to get those lips moving again, unless in 2035 we all communicate through telepathy :D
