Hello Tom and sorry for the long delay, but I havent been visiting this thread because I was busy with lots of other things. At first I wanted to say thank you to you that you took care about my issue. Secondly I wanted to say that by running TB as admin seemed to solve the issue. At least I haven´t recieved that errormessage anymore. However the logfiles can be downloaded here: www.arma-sim.de/upload/Logs.7z- 6 replies

Taunus will have 2 Airports, one Airport in the North East Corner and another (much bigger) one in the lower south west Corner of the map. Both are not yet finished, but the one in the south will have several Runways while the one in the North is rather to be considered a Military Airfield. -

The map is based on the German Taunus Mountain with the huge Feldberg pretty much to the center...well, more or less. The Satmap and the hightfield are representing the original Area, except for many altered urban areas which have been replaced by greenlands and some forests in order to keep the urban Areas smaller. We also were forced to make some compromisses with the heightfield, but those shouldnt be a Problem for those who know the Area in real life. According the ETA question...I remember what T-800 told in this post so now we are at...let me calculate...when it´s done plus 8 Month I suppose...sometime someone made the same mistake again and asked hahaha :D. No, honestly...even if we´re making a decent progress, we cant and we wont say anythings about a release as there´s still much work left to do. When we feel the map is ready for a public release, so we´ll let you guys know. -

OK guys, I have also created a Twitch account now and will stream the work with Taunus and the X-cam from time to time. So far there´s no schedule when I´ll stream, you just need to check whether I am online or subscribe to know as soon as the stream goes online. Thanks for the Help, unfortunately the suggestions above didn´t helped out. I still get this issue. I also have used different Command line examples from different people where those issues are not present. Thats why I will uninstall everythings now and try to install it again. May be that the latest update has made it mandatory to manually set up certain things I wasnt forced to do before...I dont know. At least I´ll report back as soon as I know more.- 6 replies

Hello, a short update on the current Situation. As you guys have noticed so the "updatefriday" havent took place for a couple of weeks. I just want you guys let to know that we are still working on the map. But for the moment we´re making a small break for a certain reason. the work of course continues in the background but not as efficient as we usually progress. But this will change soon and we´ll then again provide regular updates. -
I really considered to get this game while it is on sale, but I am not sure whether it really worth it...At the Moment it is singleplayer, and to be honest, it would´ve been even cooler if it would be MP or at least coop. But I am following it and watching the dev process. If it is finally developed and released once I might consider get it then. I´ve just got too many Early Access games in my account right now and many of them are dead already..I Keep waiting.

I ran some very simple Editor testmissions to get an impression of what the AI is capable of on Taunus...what shall I say... it´s the usual "ArmA AI can see through everythings" crap. The huge amount of bushes and clutter will definately be a disadvantage for PVE Missions. So Taunus is rather considered a PVP map. The Low detailed Versions that we are about to develop next to High Detail Taunus will hopefully fit the PVE requirements way better. But according to your question whether AI will see each other...I still have to check this, so I´ll give it a shot tonight when I´m back home. But...it wasnt impossible to kill some bad guys though, we´ll see what the Community will make out of it once it is released. -

Is there somewhere a hidden function to get to my account where I can find all my games that I´ve purchased already via the store? EDIT: Nevermind, I´ve found it...grrrrr. Why the hell is the "Purchases" Button hidden on a quite unexpected and unusual place? The top right account name... :rolleyes: -

May be let ArmA3P rerun or check whether you have this Addon installed at all. Dont Forget that it is an A2 Addon (CA). So you´ve got AIA Pack installed? -
Well, that´s interresting, why would someone prefer flying Jets in ArmA while he´d have way more fun flying Jets or Helicopters in DCS? ArmA Jets are nice, but dont really fit the Aerial Combat requirements (lack of a proper flight engine) But to answer your question...I havent seen Aerial Servers so far, I might be wrong but I really dont believe that there´ll be a dedicated Air Combat Server in ArmA.
