Hi Tony, Just for info - and I'm not 100% sure that it's FFN causing it but I keep getting '# Error Local Variable used in Global space' everytime anyone fires a weapon. I'm using it with ECS and ACE. Any thoughts ? [TAO] Kremator

Patch up to 1.14 (official). In fact you should be going to 1.15beta and have a look. A lot of bugs have been squashed since 1.08. [TAO] Kremator

Yeah I couldnt understand why the mission wouldnt work initially !!! [TAO] Kremator PS I don't think using Mando Bomb scipts would change the mission too much at all. As long as the costs are reasonable then there shouldnt be too much problem at all.

Here's an idea. What about an auto-rearm script for those of us that have bought an aircraft? I think Wings of Steel mission has a rearm where you need to be flying in a certain direction over the runway below a certain speed and between certain height limits. [TAO] Kremator PS love the delayed bounty messages - it forces you to 'double-tap' the enemies on the ground to confirm they are dead (OR examine them!

Ahhhh. Now there is an idea ! The Mando Bombs suite can be customised to include everything (at a price you decide). For instance each commander could call an ammo drop / vehicle drop / air support (even air dropping recently bought troops! I have used the Mando Bombs quite extensively BUT I have no idea how to implement within a WACO environment ! Another idea would also be to add a SATCOM ability, Doomguy. [TAO] Kremator

I'm running GL3, ECS, ACE and FFN. Now what I'm NOT sure of is whether EVERY functionality is working for all mods BUT what I do get is something REALLY special. For some reason I'm getting quite a slowdown though. I need to do more digging - taking out certain things to see where the slowdown is occurring. Is anyone else experiencing a slowdown ? Tony, This is very impressive but when I hosted on my dedi server I did get a lot of lag. Granted it was on Doomguys WACO 1.16b but my rigs are pretty powerful and the server was down at 12-15fps and my main rig was down at 9FPS. I was running only ACE and FFN at the same time. Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I doing something wrong ? Apart from that I think this is brilliant. [TAO] Kremator

Dear Community, I remember seeing a command inside a server.cfg that recognised when a certain person (or people) entered a server they would immediately be put as admin BUT I cant remember that command. Anyone able to help out? Thanks [TAO] Kremator

Tony, This is sounding great. One question however. I noticed that you had scripted certain troops (like crew for instance) could only occupy certain positions - pilot/gunner/driver etc. The problem that I encountered in the past was that when you spawn a tank for instance IF they were ordinary troops they would be forced out of their tank. Is there any way to avoid this happening? I TRIED to modify the replacement file so that all troops could be crew/pilot but I think I screwed up somewhere! Can't wait for 0.82 ..... gonna be a BLAST ! [TAO] Kremator

Excellent work. have ECS, GL3 and ACE running together (although I havent checked FULL compatibility) is sure looks GREAT ! Wonderful to see AI doing house to house searches again and all the other little bits that ECS added! [TAO] Kremator

Give the city a go EcOGunner and take your time. As long as you make it compatible with Arma2 it will make a welcome change. My only concern is watching the FPS drop in a city but I'm sure you can sort that with tweaking! [TAO] Kremator -

It's the 3 or 4 gig limit for RAM thats causing your problems. BIS still havent got a solution to this problem. Shame really. Set your RAM limit to 3 or 4 Gig and retry. It will work but I haven't been that impressed with Arma on Vista versus XP (and I dual boot both OSs) [TAO] Kremator -
norrin, As quite a few of us use ACE currently (due to the content that it offers), would it be possible to upgrade the revive script to look for players/AI that are 'downed' but not dead - ie they require epinephrine (or bandages,morphine)? This would make the script just AMAZING! [TAO] Kremator PS looking forward to the next version anyway !
