Has anyone here noticed any significant changes after applying the 4GB aware patch that was posted here a while back or the Windows Game mode?

I think he means to ask what brand & model it is, not where the game files are located ...

Also this section is for official releases, not fan made patches. I doubt BIS wants to provide support for someone else's bugs ;)

A lot of the tools I have had problems with in Win. 7 and 10, presumably because they were made before UAC.

Should be ok as it's the gamepark.cz domain. I'll download them just in case, but a lot might be duplicates of the current server and/or outdated by newer releases. The "News" directory is the pictures server (where some bad newsposter also uploaded some addons despite having been told not to ) I don't even have login details for the server of that other stuff. Must be some Ye Olde Server

Armedassault is over 250GB IIRC. I don't have a backup of that myself. Do you mean the pictures from ofp.gamepark.cz? I also downloaded those just in case, but they should remain as they are stored on gamepark.cz servers. Only the downloads are going to stop working * * Famous last words ...

Slightly over 90GB of OFP files. It might be a little less than 80 if I leave out outdated versions of some of the big mods.

As you may have read armedassault.info will be closing down in the near future because it is no longer viable to continue paying for an ever decreasing number of visitors and therefore ad-revenues. This also affects the OFPr.info downloads since it is on the same server that will be shut down. The site itself will continue to run unlike armedassault.info, because it was never moved to the new (paid) host. The website address of "ofpr.info" will be discontinued and "ofp.gamepark.cz" will be the only way to access the site. The entire content of the fileserver along with the pictures from the site will be made available in a torrent using the same file structure as the site. By looking at the links you can find the relevant files in the torrent. If it turns out that people download, but do not seed the files for others I'll discontinue the torrent. Many thanks go out to Cervo, Nano19, Dusand, Jerry Hopper and many others that have helped the site stay up for so long.

V6 will possibly have iron sight view. One of the things that has always bothered me about the originel game. The crosshair only view is essentially cheating in a game like this since it offers the same accuracy but with much more peripheral vision. On that note I can't fathom people that want to play mods that are as realistic as possible but then complain that they want the limited view you get from wearing a gas mask removed since it restricts vision ... Seen it complained about with so many different mods for different games

It's only because of Barccy liking a post that I even noticed this question, sorry. It should be compatible as was the previous release. None of the classnames were changed and the US paratroopers are still in the mod even though they aren't used and look dated compared to the British content.

Bielow has released an unofficial patch for the Invasion 1944 - Oosterbeek project, raising the version number from 2.50 to 2.70. Never been made as far as I know, it's too new. From after most people stopped making addons for OFP.

Why not have the vehicles move into position, stop them, put in a delay of like 10 seconds and then do a detonation + deleting of the objects before the vehicles move on/out of the way. The detonation masks most of the objects when they dissappear.
