That's fine by me as using the AI is low on the list.We prefer pilot co pilot with human players.As for the target box,I'll try that too but it just seems that the laser is not firing consistently ,therefor no lock and no guidance.Something is deactivating it even though its showing as "on", ie the cross and x symbol.By the way that issue with the missile stutter was in the editor not a multiplayer session if that makes a difference.Testing a mission firing on a RHS Btr-80. -

Well we tried it again and still having problems with the FCS...It simple stops working for no reason,again with two people in the helo and single player.The target box seems to bounce and lag when slewing.Also I tried it with an AI gunner and something really weird happened.When I told him to fire a hellfire at an APC the whole screen went into a slide show almost to the point of lockup,once the missile hits, it goes back to normal.Rockets and guns don't have a problem.Dunno what the deal is there.I thought maybe it was a CBA thing and loaded cba3 ,no change. -

Ok thanks...will try then again with the advice given...thanks again and mucho thanks for the apache. Now go build us a proper Mi-28...hehe. Oh, one other thing , if your interested I have built a T-90MS tank. I have no use for it nor will I ever probably finish it ,if ya want it just let me know. 3dstudiomax10 version file though. -

Ok from viewing the vide we're doing it right...but its not consistent...Also when zooming in ,the second zoom power is "slaving" the optics off target to a 90 degree angle. Could this be a new bug or the fact we're using RHS's Mod? Keep in mind also we're doing two human's to a single helo...pilot/co pilot update...just tried it with no mods accept this one and it still behaves erratic...sometimes it woks sometimes not, In one case it worked then completely stopped once the pilot detected the laser spot as a target(it was close to our helo).Were using 144.130654 NON DEV build.These issues don't occur when using stock arma helos. -

Well, two of us tried this helicopter in multi this afternoon and both of us had trouble with the FCS not locking to the target... it seems it works only some of the time, but we don't know what's causing it to fail. We do use RHS assets on our maps so its possible that's the problem??? Any ideas??? -

Could someone make a video on how to use the targeting system from the gunner seat? I simply can't make heads or tails of this. It just doesn't make sense when trying to target something. I need a tutorial. -

Noticed some issues with the new armor: Can't turn out in commander or driver on the opfor anti-air vehicle. Tanks in some cases will not move in reverse even though there are no obsticles behind them. Tanks will not drive over a short stone wall...you have to backup(if it will even backup) and then get up speed to breach...a one foot wall????? When in the gunners station in the artillery.If the gun is super elevated and you switch to external view...your looking off into space. When rangeing targets the range scale doesn't match the laser range and the rounds don't land anywhere near their intended range even when you do get a close distance match.Bis why can't you add a freakin lase target feature??!!! Wierd targeting happening in the t-100 when driving...targets the ground??? Can't make heads or tails outta this one???Not sure just what is happening here.RMB is switching from interior to exterior and locking targets at same time...why??? Makes no sense. lock and zoom still the same command???? Thought this was supposed to change??? Please BIS look into these issues and give us some decent immersion in armor combat, seems to me these are legacy issues from Arma2 and aren't flattering at all

What ALSO needs to be taken into account is the rounds will also change in 20 years...not just the armor

Then why was I able to see a 2300 meter distant target when set to 3800(divided by 2 =1900)???...numbers still don't add up

Maybe because IN A TANK my object setting was 2000ish and I was engaging at 2300 and target disappeared at 2400 but view was set to 3800...numbers make no sense

This is getting ridiculous.Engaged a target at 2300 metres,destroyed it.Was lookijg for next target on the range(salt flat) but couldn't find it...hmmm...set distance to 6000 meters,and poof there it is just 100 meters behind the first target, ok,reset my view distance down to 3800 meters and the target disappears but I could still lock it.Why is a 2400 meter target disappearing with a view setting of 3800 meters???WTF.

If you look at the T-100 from the side you can see the crew sticking out of the hull underneath the turret...how do they miss that sort of thing??!! ---------- Post added at 23:56 ---------- Previous post was at 22:58 ---------- You can kill the gunner or commander from OUTSIDE the tank with a rifle while they are turned in(shoot between the turret and hull)...now that's pretty lame.

Tanks can barely navigate the new terrain on Altis , driver gets hung up on every second f-ing rock he comes too. It wore me down to the point I simply quit the game. Also I couldn't blow up a simple tin shed with HE...fired like 5 rounds and gave up

Are we only supposed to operate this from the pilot seat? using the gun in the gunners seat is uncontrollable for some reason.It seems to flip all over the place and at times I see in reverse (facing to the rear of the pit instead of forward??) got no idea whats wrong. Seems to work ok in the pilot seat though. -

Im not going to read 231 posts...so here goes... Diving in this game is kinda lame , it needs something to convince me that I'm actually wearing diving gear. Any mask I've ever worn while diving is visible to the eye. glass and frame. Also the animations for disarming mines are a joke. why did you even bother? at least make it half convincing that I'm doing something underwater. I expected more as a new feature. Also, fish are invincible to bullets???...I don't think so.
