    Ok, thanks for the hint! I will then add the English subtitles for Polish and Russian Arma 2 in the next mission version. Does anyone know which other language Arma 2-versions don't have English available?

    Hi Maciek. When you launch Arma 2 in English, the subtitles in the mission will automatically be in English too (I assume that you usually play the game in Polish language?). You have to go to the options in the main menu, then game options and change to English. If English is not available in your version, please report back here. In this case I will add the English subtitles for the Polish version of Arma 2 (and for other languages too) in the next version of the mission. But this will take some weeks / months. Currently I'm waiting for the new patch 1.60 and after this I have a lot of stuff to do in the mission, so it will take some time.

    Custom controls tutorial

    Can I give you guys another suggestion (especially if you play in MP)? PLEASE do not set "Get out" and "Eject" to the same key(s)! It's so annoying, when people (drivers!) eject from cars in Multiplayer and thus leave the engine running! You can't hear anything anymore, except the vehicle. Them smartasses run away happily while I always try to get to the car to turn it out so I can hear enemy activities again... Sure, sometimes it's important to get out fast (e.g. while the vec is still moving). And if you're in cargo, there's no problem with ejecting. But as driver please take one or two seconds more and use "Get out" properly. Thanks! :D

    Perfect accuracy when firing from the hip

    By the way: It is not from the hip you fire when you are not using iron sights! It is firing from the shoulder. Iron sights: Weapon at shoulder (NOT at hip!): But yes - I also don't like the enabled crosshair! ;)

    Hm, doesn't work... I tried to put this in the init.sqf, like: player setVariable ["CLY_holsteredgun","M9"]; The holster script was launched 3 second before. The only thing that happens is that the action to holster the weapon disappears. But the pistol doesn't hide. Can you also teach me how to do it when I don't know which sidearm the player will have (because I want to make a weapon selection in the briefing). Thanks a lot, man!

    Too sad. :) Because even though I always try to remember the pistol mags, I often forget to check them. :) Anyway, a great script, I'm using it quite a lot in my new project. EDIT: Oh, and another question that came up: How can I make the gun being holstered scriptwise, so that I can make it hidden at the beginning of the mission?

  13. Oh yes, those random rabbits really are a pain in the ass as they can destroy a whole cutscene (for example). The AI in vehicles really has a problem with situations like this. :( Thanks for the ticket link, Fireball.

    Well, I even was expecting a new expansion, but in the meanwhile I think that BI should rather spend more energy in Arma 3. A new DLC (which of course is smaller than a expansion) would be great though.

    The setmimic command unfortunately still is not working for white persons in this beta version (only the death mimic). All mimics that are possible work for black persons, but I would love to see also a "smile" mimic aside from the already existing ones (which are quite good! :) ).
