  1. Shouldn't start shaking at 180kph, that's only 100 kts. The shaking shouldn't be a pulse though, it should be a constant shake and a little more subtle. You feel it more than you see it, usually.
  2. I've only seen them on Navy/USMC aircraft when they decide to hog my airfield. As far as I know, the Army doesn't use them anymore.
  3. I've only seen two in my life. Both were in one of our shipping containers, seemingly forgotten... somehow. Those things are expensive as hell.

  6. No it isn't, it's closer to an HH-60G than anything... Also, nobody uses the EIBF ("Engine Inlet Barrier Filter") anymore... Do the Stabilator & landing gear actually move, unlike the original from OA? Also, the little square under the crewchief window is NOT a step... You're in for a... shock... if you try to step there. Sorry bad pun. But seriously, its the external power receptacle... on the other side. No such square on the left. The Mike model doesn't have that ugly long antenna running down the side of the tail either. The EOMS (Electro-Optical Missile Sensor) are located on the tip of the nose, the dragbeam support fairings (The little wings below the cockpit door) are too short and not the right shape. There's no ESSS, Even alpha models have that... There's an antenna in front of the rotor head. I need to see the right side to see if they (RHS) fixed the almost but not quite refuel probe that they (BIS) half way installed but never got around to actually doing. BIS really screwed the blades up too, main and tail. Also that crewchief would be fired for allowing the cabin door to be unsecured. The joys work strips from you...

    Just remember that most of the droop comes from the main rotor hub/spindle and the blades only really flex about 1/3 of the way from the hub, the rest of the blade is straight.

    Should be the other way around. The vehicle should be prepared with ropes and then all of them hooked to the aircraft at once. I wonder if its possible to have the four come to a point and then one line going to the aircraft, like in real life.

    That disclaimer was for the other folks. ;) Most people would see 9,000 lbs and go "WOAAAAA! Neat!" and think it'll fly no matter what; not accounting for fuel, passengers, aircraft mods, internal cargo, crew, altitude, wind speed, air temperature, humidity, etc. etc. etc.

    Should be 9,000 lbs (4.5t) for the Lima and Mikes' cargo hooks. The primary limiting factor is power, so whether you get off the ground is another issue entirely. :rolleyes: Not that it matters, the UH-60A is rated at 8k lbs (4t).
  11. Slight update: Started work on a proper M240H, so far only pieced together from BIsamples. I plan on reworking the ammo can for a proper 200 rounder and finishing the spade grip assembly with the trigger linkages along with adding the rail mount/bipod.
  12. You have to set + and - on the axis (Just push it forward and back). I don't have this problem. ;)
  13. I'm really curious how well using actual technical specifications (Horsepower, torque, blade chord, twist, etc. etc.) will translate in RotorLib in terms of realism. I've spent a little bit of time cobbling together some specs for the H60M, there are just a few bits and bobs that I'm unsure about due to a lack of documentation for RTM (Like what the dimensions for the aircraft moments need to be based off of, whether the gear ratios are based on engine RPM, etc) and my Mike isn't close to being finished so I can't put any model coordinates. I haven't touched anything outside of the bare bones technical specs that I've been able to scrounge up.   14. Mine are probably a little different than yours, we go from 8 degrees trailing edge up to 40 down.
  15. Thanks man, I'll give it a shot. As for the uniforms, for some reason, they're defaulting to the normal multicam NATO uniform... Even though I'm trying to use the independent uniform...
  16. Thank you. I got stuck with surprise division staff duty... Ungh... Ours slew down to 40 degrees though. Anyway: Nose left (Right side slip) trailing edge down Nose right (Left side slip) trailing edge up Above 30 KIAS the aircraft senses the collective position and slews the stabilator accordingly The aircraft will sense gusts of wind and slew the stabilator to prevent any crazy change in attitude
  17. The stabilator shouldn't have ribs on the outboard portions, the inboard section needs them. The hand holes are more square too. The material the outboard parts of the stabilator feels like cheap plastic, composites are weird.
  18. I'll do some digging for the Blackhawk, I know anything under 45 KIAS is full down at 40 degrees. It acts on a lot more than just air-speed though, it also reacts to pedal input, collective, cyclic position etc.
  19. Thanks guys, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the sounds working, the config example I've seen in the BIKI doesn't seem to work for me. Edit: Got a lot of work to do, have to re-config all of the weapons to get the sound and scope working also figure out how to get my uniforms to work. Major headaches. I can't code to save my life.
  20. Is it possible to change the horizontal stabilizer's angle of attack dynamically and have it effect the FM accordingly? Save for instance the Blackhawk and Apache helicopters have a "wing" on the tail that changes pitch with airspeed. The huey also has stabilizers but they're tied to cyclic input.
  21. That seat is going to be supported by something connected to the ceiling... Right? Those seat legs are hinged with ball joints at the floor and the seat...

  23. Maybe something to do with the tail rotor not being perfectly in line with the main and/or CG?
  24. You have to create that roll with cyclic motion in a hover to counteract the tail blowing you sideways.
