Hey, can you please change the CDLC so that it doesn't change the main menu? I'd love to have your content and the great map to complement the Arma 3 stuff but the changed main menu really puts me off. Just having the CDLC as an addition would be great. -

There are functions viewer and config viewer as tools in 3den editor. -

It is defined in the config of the ammo class. You can change it. Haven't tried. -

For some reason the game and editor got really laggy since the latest update of main branch yesterday. I am using a lot of mods but that has been no issue what so ever until yesterday. Has anyone the same issues? -

Yes unfortunately unchanged, for me it seems to be my own custom made compositions. -

It's my own compositions, not workshop ones. I'm talking about 3-5s freezes, not some stuttering, that appeared only in 2.18 and are gone when changing to Legacy 2.16 or using 2.18 but removing the compositions file. I have actually left my workshop compositions in and the problem is still gone. I have a significantly smaller number of them though. Something must have been changed about user made compositions in the recent update. That's causing the issue. -

Yes! Same for me. The compositions seem to be the issue. When I moved my folder out (with 1,093 of them in it) the freezing was gone. I hope this gets a fix soon. Hasn't been a problem before the update. -

I do have a lot of 3den compositions as well. This has however not been a problem before. -

I can't get that profiling to work. It just gives me an error message for a missing ";" when I copy it into a trigger or debug console. -

I just start the game, go to the editor, select terrain, e.g. Stratis. Then I place a Blufor rifleman as player, give it a name. Place game master module set the owner to said name. I start the scenario. Press Z to go to Zeus interface. Then I press Esc. At this point I have experienced multiple freezes. 1. When selecting the module tab to place the game master module in 3den. 2. When hitting Esc while in Zeus interface. Every time I click the Load Scenario button in 3den I also have a freeze. These are about 3-5 seconds. After them the game just continues normal. I do not have these while playing the Infantry showcase and pausing the game at all. Haven't tried for others. -

I have now reinstalled the game and the problem still exists. So I went back to Legacy 2.16 and it's gone. It must be something about the update of the editor. Since some things were definitely changed, like the object icons in 3d view now rotating and markers being visible now in 3d view. -

3den, happens without Mods as well. E.g. when clicking the load scenario button but also ingame. When remotecontrolling a unit as Zeus for the first time or hitting Esc while playing to open pause menu. It freezes for about 3-5s then continues. I have only tested SP. -
Hello there, I'm currently experimenting with missile flight paths and I wonder if you could make a relatively accurate anti-ship-missile. I'd like to have the Cruise flight profile with autoSeekTarget enabled once it reaches lockDistanceToTarget. That apparently doesn't work despite it working perfectly with the topDown flight profile and descendDistance (only you can't make it sea-skimming that way). Any chance that the Cruise profile gets changed so it works with autoSeekTarget? Ideally it would be possible to change flight profile mid flight. So you can have a sea-skimmer (Cruise) with a pop-up-attack in the end (change to topDown). Is there any way for that? Thank you Venator

I can only guess that the rc-40 is not equipped with a data link. Therefore it can't share the target with the launcher. -

I usually don't like digging up old threads but I wasn't able to find any viable information on this: Is there a hard cap for max detection range in the game engine? Because no matter what maxRange I put into the config I can't get my radar to detect anything beyond 20km. I can get weapons to lock on longer range via datalink though. If so is there a workaround for longer detection ranges?- 957 replies

I really like the look of the new BTR-T. Upgunned Marid and Panther/ Namer with proper turrets are definitely on my wishlist though. -

The GLX 40 mm iron sights seem to be not properly zeroed. It shoots to the right to about where the first digit of the 3 digit ranges is. -

With the last update the penetration on the G36 rifle model was changed. I think this should actually be reversed. Most parts of guns are not bulletproof to rifle or even pistol calibers. Since it may be hard to do diffrent properties for barrel/ bolt carrier group and the rest of the rifles I think all rifles should be changed so you can actually perforate them with small arms fire. That would be also more in line with the vanilla game rifles. IRL you would probably be smoked wearing no body armor if the gun you are holding is hit even if the bullet doesnt perforate the gun because of secondary projectiles of the gun itself. At least if you are holding it close to the body. Although IRL bullets may deflect off the gun. -
