    Thanks, yea i already noticed that myself tho. For example at link you got a lot of situations wer you can lay under cars. Without a bagpack you are pretty much hidden, but not with one. Would be cool to choose which colour smoke you would use, especially since it is a smoke colour. It doesn't change anything of importance to the game.

    Should be changed to twice = kick / 2 hour ban on server. because this shit is just getting ridiculous, especially in COOP... So we had to run to this place after the mission was completed but beside me a buddy and 1 other guy everyone was still running from the AO. Me buddy and I went shooting ducks to keep us bussy and out of the sudden this random idiot starts to TK, and in no way is this what you say implemented in the coop servers because he killed me a lot.

    Don't forget that some people only play games which are PvE oriented, so what this does is lock them out from getting "ANYTHING" at all. I would understand it if you made it 10 times as less as the easy pvp matches are, but still give them something. As I noted already before the COOP already feels very stal in the way of there is no progression and the objectives are dull. I don't say COOP is bad, no I just want you guys to remind that not everyone is into the adrenaline rush fast phased shooter matches as me. And while the COOP is already there, why not make it work? Give people the feeling that they actually achieving something.

    Let me drop this right off here... Argo Feedback Campers Every now and then you got some matches full with campers, all they do is hide in a building close enough for us to make it impossible to control the sector (upload). And within the time frame impossible to find them in the wide possibility of places they can be at some locations. 64bit/32bit I don't know why the 32 bit runs like **** but I had 30 fps on there while I have 60 fps on the 64 bit, why even launch the 32bit by default ?!? This gives a false impression of the game running badly since the 64bit runs much smoother. Hackers Gotta say it, so me first 3 matches was kicking ass and out of the sudden this guy with 0 kills and 17 deaths starts mowing everyone down, knowing where everyone was coming from at all times. but also wierd s**t like after you've shot someone atleast 7 times and they still keep shooting back resulting in your death, at the death cam about 10sec later he flies into the air and is dead. (can be lag, can be oh fuck I forgot to turn me infinity health script off...) Thing is I don't care if I have a bad match myself, but when people are just so bad and out of the sudden they are the best bells start to ringle. Additions for the coop (since this mission is used in/for arma and argo I will say it here tho) To my suprise did I get nothing for coop, whereby when I play pvp I do. I would understand it that it would be much less, but still something woulda be better than nothing. Also the mission in general coulda been easily expanded by keeping the player on the map. This even gives the posibilies of being able to buy cars to drive from mission A to B. The thing for me is when playing these kinda coop games is to have some feeling of progress. While at the point I really don't, I tried a handful and only got the same objectives: destroy 2 cars in the AO. Keeping us on the map and for coop (only) to being able to open your invertory would really add a lot. Since you don't come out a mission with the same items you went in, atleast the looting is worth it and add's gameplay to it. (like instead when a mission is complete throw a box down, ammo nades smoke etc etc could even let a plane fly over and drop the player owned car at their feet) Bug?!? After deing a few times I was being able to use a riffleman loadout with nades included, didn't like it... (I still only had acces to lower tier weapons and out of the sudden this 7.62 pops up + 2 nades)

    For f/ck sake thank the gods of war !!! While i'm happy that they finally changed the 3th person cams for helis back to the old situation. I'm still angry about how it happened, you know if you come with a new game ARMA 4 and force us advanced flying I could understand it some more, because then I just wouldn't buy the game at all. But now we get an DLC "jets dlc" and you force the new cam changes down our throats and especially while arma is that sandbox kinda game... WHY THE .... WOULD YOU?!? While people always agree to disagree there was nothing being added by the cam following the heli at all times. If you fly in first person you cam already does this anyway, so again the only thing that it do was make people sick in the back of a heli. I'm done over this subject... Amazing island, keep it up!

    If you read back what you wrote you yourself then read what I say and things clear up... I'm saying that no one likes the new change from the point of view of someone sitting in the back of a heli, and you can't blame that person for the pilot using a keyboard. And about you saying maybe we should wait and see if people actual like it or not. Which I disagree for the reasons above, a pilot can change into 1st person, but someone just riding in the back can't. And then we come back to koth and invade and annex, just two examples of where heli's are important. Actually 70% of the daily players are now playing something else instead only because of this reason. And that only reflects the people I play with but these people are not just limited to pilot roles. This is exactly the same thing as the AA or the new rangefinder push to use, Bohemia stop making changes just for the sake of annoying us.

    Agree to disagree, can you really give people motion sickness by sitting in the back of a heli and call this acceptable? The thing is while I can change into 1st person which many pilots do while flying it is not a problem. But again the game is for a bigger audience so games like invade and annex would never been played... Game modes like koth will see a dramatically change from heli's to cars, just because they can't see sh*t in the back of a heli or get sick in 3th person. While you can blame a person for using a keyboard over a controller on a pc game which is already ridiculous enough... You can't blame a person in the back of a heli for the pilot flying with a keyboard.
  12. No worries. Yes and no, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=623475643 is a mod that add's another line which does what you want. Once installed just double click on any soldier and you will find a animation tab in there. It is hard to say since things change quit often in arma but animation are only supposed to work on SP missions. (the mod uses these commands: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BIS_fnc_ambientAnim ) Also what you can do, which I like more myself is just launch any mission from the editor and go to animations from the ESC menu. You find a tab about under MOVE that says CUTSCENE there are all the useful animations. Whenever you click on a animation you will see it run but also see the time it takes to finish... So knowing this you can put timers on triggers and let them trigger after each other, little trial and error and you got animations like Bohemia has in their missions. P.S. Hitting ctrl + c will copy the animations you are looking at.

    yup... And that is exactly the point, I got over 3000 hours flying helis in arma using a keyboard alone... I just like many others will never go back and relearn flying on advanced or even with a mouse, why do something you don't like in a video game, exactly. And that is the reason I put it out here, never had motion sickness before in a car or whatever. Only had it once on a ship and this is causing exactly the same thing.

    Yeah I know right. Same thing I kinda like the new change, HOWEVER do I "only" use third person while landing "too" quickly... Then looking at a mission I made earlier which uses unitcapture&play... This is exactly what people will see when someone with a keyboard pilots the heli. You can say whatever you want, can't deny this being annoying to say the least. The cam in the video is unacceptable, me guy is just sitting in the back, why is me cam dancing?!?
  16. (driver _plane) enableAI "MOVE"; enables the _soldier1 disableAI "MOVE"; It seems you are disabling the move on the plane, not on the driver that is the first thing that goes wrong. Secondly it seems that disabling anything (path or move) on the vehicles has no effect whatsoever. Put ... on the pilot only. this disableAI "MOVE"; And make sure the _plane changes into the plane name, in your case: ... in the script. (driver BIS_Wingman) enableAI "MOVE"; Now what soldier2390 says is correct, I've experienced that myself tho. Changing "MOVE" into "PATH" fixes it.

    They can but will never do that. Thing is with ETA's is that every time they make an ETA and are to late it will disappoint people no matter what, even if it is a rough eta etc... Again the reason why, is because they have it already fixed and it is already live! You can't do this with a ETA, ever, especially knowing that Bohemia has to wait for someone at steam to press the button for the update to start...

    Haha, wasn't even aware of this, wasn't that bad in the editor but if you fly in any heli for a while it gets me sea sick Imao. (no joke) Yeah in jets in ain't a problem at all but in heli's, don't get me started...

    I'm not sure about that one since I build me intro's directly into me mission main file... And when a mission gets to crowded I just delete or deactivate (hide) the AI who ain't in visual range. (for example back at base, if you only come from there once you could delete everything if you don't return within that mission... after-all you men are on foot.) Or when it gets close to the end just open a new mission and line them up at the end. A good example for this is the SP campaign from Bohemia themselves ... While you at your base it doesn't act like anything else than a mid mission with all the other missions branching off that. There is a way to find out the ID's of the static objects and work with that, but being honest why the headache in the first place? Gass stations are an exception to this then but for all objects out in the world you got your empty objects tho which do can be used. Just give them a name and work with that in you'r trigger for example (say we have to protect a radio tower) if radio tower is dead (broken) hit trigger fail. If radio tower is still alive after 5 minutes trigger task succeeded... You got mods tho that add buildings which can't be placed down directly in the base game, though the way I said before but just making it easier for you since you don't have to go through all the ID bullshit. These mods are also independent since they only use assets that are already in the base game so people playing you mission don't need an extra mod, just you do for editing it.   22. That is where a loiter comes in. When you make a LOITER waypoint and then right click on the waypoint and click on trigger activate, now connect this loiter to the trigger you want to be used to let them walk. But also can you hide the units without using a script, in this mode the AI is kinda offline, it is still on the map but no one can interact with it. I mean, you could just put a npc on the map and make him the player, set 3 enemy units up where u want them to be, hold shift while they are active and click somewhere on the map, now you got you'r waypoint. (make 3 move waypoints and the last make it a cycle, then move that close to the enemy AI so after the 3 waypoints he will cycle everything all over again, use the first waypoint to set how they handle with a situation safe/combat/etc etc...) Spawning makes me think you wanna spawn it in with a script, which makes things more complicated and therfor also the question because this isn't needed at all.   24. Nice one, didn't try it out yet but unitCapture & unitPlay might work tho as-long you make it SP and it is designed to be run only 1 at a time...   25. Never mind, normally you can just go into the pbo file and extract that. But for some reason are only the latest DLC in ebo format... its the encrypted pbo format from VBS.
