Is MARSOC even using the airframe helmet? Glad to hear more of your stuff is finding its way into RHS warden. I quite like your airframes and opscores, but it would be cool to see them tricked out with a variety of accessories (i.e. manta strobes, contour helmet cams, princeton lights, battery packs, nvg mounts, IR flags, the works). I'm very impressed by your attention to detail with smaller objects like the AN/AVS 9, so I'd love to see more of the these smaller items. -

This might be more of an engine issue, but would it be possible for the ai to disembark simultaneously? Currently, they disembark sequentially, which makes no sense. -

Sounds amazing Laxemann. Looking forward to seeing this fully (or hell, even partially) implemented in RHS. BIS did one helluva job overhauling the audio, cant wait to see sound modders take full advantage of the new features. -

Yes, this has been a pet peeve of mine since OFP. I would love for formation options to be unlocked in safe mode. Makes patrolling much more immersive if we're able to adopt a wedge formation for example.- 5179 replies

Yeah it's a shame we dont have a more extensive weapon modification system. Still, it's lightyears ahead of arma 2. Honestly, a filter option in the virtual arsenal would alleviate some of the clutter. That said, the AUG pack and G36 pack already have a massive amount of variety in them. I think workload is the main issue here. -

True, but some of his weapon packs have modded weapon systems already included. From the non port ones there's the m249 pack which has some heavily customized weapons in it. Magpul gear in general seems ubiquitous with 416s all around the world though (especially those stocks). edit: I think fluttershy from socmod was working on a Geissele rail as well. He might have left though. Could also inquire there. -

Yeah I dont think it was announced in the dev branch changelogs. Unless I missed it of course. I found it on the arma subreddit. Hopefully we'll get fully animated gunners in the future (atleast something like the DCS Hueys). I know what you mean about the vanilla aircraft, which is a damn shame, because the actual models and textures are phenomenal. But the community has been pumping out helicopters that rival BIS quality like the MELB. Im sure the SOAR mod will be right up there as well. -

Was the Geiselle rail made by someone else? I thought it was part of the original model. Going on a bit of a tangent, but werent Tigg and Twinkle Masta active in the arma community at one time? I think the latter was making a submarine for Arma 1/2. On the topic of CAG 416s however, isnt Toadie planning on making one? I assume it's included in the hk416(a5) weapon pack thats on the list somewhere. -

Ah good to see a ticket has been created and that the issue has been noted. Not able to access the game right now, but those options don't render in real time do they? That's what I like so much about the virtual arsenal. You instantly see what changes which is very handy when changing patches (when using mods). -

A bit late to the party, but I too love the virtual arsenal's integration with the Eden editor. Can't tell you how much time that saves me switching back and forth between the virtual arsenal, notepad and the editor itself. One thing I find missing is the ability to change options with regard to a character's identity (I think), e.g. patches, face, and voice. Will you add this functionality later on? -

Well in that case let me add as well that Im one of those many people eagerly (but also patiently) waiting for the mod! I dont know if this has been answered yet, but have you've given some thought on how to configure the birds for the virtual garage? With the release of the 3d Eden editor and the promised implementation of both the virtual arsenal and virtual garage this should open up some interesting options for modular vehicles. Specifically it would help reduce the clutter in the editor, although this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. -

Congrats on the release of the three new weaponpacks Toadie! High quality work as always. I especially love the bolt action springfield. One thing I noticed about the G36 pack is how clean they are, they basically look like the rolled fresh off the H&K line. Will you consider adding batteworn variants to the pack (like RHS' ar series). Don't consider this a request though, I realize that would entail a great deal of work. I'm just asking because I saw how shiny and fancy your g36s were :P -

Congrats on the release of the new version(s)! I cant say how happy and grateful I am for the continued release of high quality content from you guys. The new Opscore models are very nice, were they donated by warden? They look very similar to the ones included in his airframe and jpc pack (albeit somewhat smaller). Will you add more accessories to the Opscore helmets (i.e nvg batteries, helmetcams, flags, ir lights etc. etc.)? I'll make a feature request on your tracker later on, but I guess there's little harm in asking it here.- 16577 replies

Good news on the health front. Glad to hear you're doing well. We don't have many water based vehicle assets, but this addon is of exceptional high quality. I'm very excited about the Nimitz class carrier. The model is looking very good and I can only imagine how awe inspiring it will be when you get it fully textured and in game. Will it feature a lot of accessible interiors? Atleast with the new EDEN editor it'll be easy to place objects on it, heh. -

So for OFP we had BAS, for ARMA 2 we had yurapetrov and for ARMA 3 it seems you lot take up the mantle of the premier blackhawk content producers. I'm very impressed by what you've shown so far and eagerly await every new bit of information. Two questions though. Firstly, will the doorgunners be fully animated? The old Arma 2 animations where the gunners just sit there and mindlessly stare in front of them is a bit of an immersion killer. Will we see gunners actually operating the weapon and sticking their heads out? Secondly, is it possible to implement interior lighting? It looks very atmospheric if done right. I remember the ghosthawk being bugged in the beta and having its interior lit up by the external light. It looked quite cool. -

Hey Toadie, I'm not quite sure if you read my previous post (it wasnt addressed in your post here, but i'll ask again just to be sure. After going over the list I noticed that most of the models you intent on modeling are either rifles or pistols (with some machineguns thrown in). Have you considered adding shotguns to the list? I'm not really familiar with ARMA's mechanics, but would it be possible to implement realistic pumpaction shotguns using the Weapon Eventhandler Framework mod? Combined with your animating (and general modding) talent that could offer some truly unique new weapon systems to ARMA. Hell, in general it would be nice to see more novel weapons brought to ARMA (like that really cool archery mod). Speaking of animations. Would it be possible to have machineguns carried at the hip when at low ready? Currently it must be very exhausting for macinegunners to carry their weapons in ARMA. When you come around to working on the HK416's and other more exotic ar15 derivatives, will you consider adding thumb over bore shooting postures for some variants? Just a little something to differentiate them from the rest of the m4s. -

Great work on the update toadie. Your weapon packs are high quality addons and my ARMA experience wouldnt be the same without them. Two small requests though. A while back you mentioned that you'd include the integrated surefire flashlight for the mp5. Is this still in your plans? Would love to see its inclusion for some 90s SWAT/CT styled loadouts. Secondly, will you open up your AWM models for more attachtments? I'd love to be able to mount suppressors and IR pointers on them. Moreover, bipod compatibility for the suppressed version would be nice. -

No worries. Like I said, it's a minor thing really. I'm just glad we have high quality US and Russian military units available in one comprehensive package. RHS (and its previous iterations) have been a staple in my OFP/ARMA experience so I'm glad you guys are around. Three other unrelated questions though. The m240 models currently dont allow for the attachment of IR pointers (or flashlights). Will this be fixed in the future? Similarly, will you allow the AN/PEQ 15 to be mounted on the m136 launchers? Finally, with regards to the russian soldiers. Will you model a modern chest rig for your machinegunners? I'm not really knowledgeable on russian military equipment, but I think this is an MG setup for the 6SH112 rig?- 16577 replies

Great news. On the subject of the US army clothing however, will these be replaced by new models in time? I remember Sabre stating that the models were originally not created for ARMA. Will you guys replace those models with custom made ones (like the USMC frog model). That is not to say the current models are not up to spec, but compared to the USMC frog models they seem a bit 'clunky'. Combined with ARMA's animations the US army models look a bit disproportionate at places (e.g. the arms) even with your continued tweaking of the weighing. There's also the minor issue of US gear (vests) not being interchangeable between the USMC and army models. It's nothing major, but there are some clipping issues.- 16577 replies

I suppose a plain jane m16a2 model would be nice for garrison troops. A legacy weapon like that would make a nice weapon for opfor/greenfor troops as well. But all things considered it's not really an essential weapon probably. Especially since it's not really in service anymore with front line units.- 16577 replies
